DoubleTree by Hilton Veracruz

Great little hotel! Excellent location on the beach near lots of restaurants and other points of interest. Every member of the staff that we interacted with went above and beyond to be smiley, friendly and very helpful even though we barely speak any Spanish. Rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff was very thorough and actually came by every day, without needing to be asked! The pool is beautiful and large with many different areas for lounging and swimming. I wouldn’t call this a 5 star hotel necessarily, as in it’s not particularly fancy, but for the price it is a solid hotel. Would 10/10 stay there again!

Hi we just stayed at this hotel last week and the views are great. We picked our room and was very happy. When you arrived this park out front they will take your car to the parkings structure. It is valet so that was great. The room needs to be swept better but overall it was great. We Also had the morning brunch and loved all the options they had. Delicious and worth every penny or peso😁. Our servers were very attentive and accommodating. I felt very safe and comfortable during my stay. If you walk outside to the left towards the muelle(dock) there's lots of food carts at night time and the water is nice and cool but not cold. They also change currency in the hotel but for a bit less than at the bank or casa de cambio. We found out that you can use ATMs and get pesos right out of your account.

When we arrived the hotel didn't look like the pictures, I was not pleased but we decided to stay and it turned into a wonderful experience. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it. Clean rooms, delicious food, excellent service 👍🏼

Good to stay to work at TNG shipyard.

It was a pretty good meal. I went to have breakfast with some friends and it was a very good buffet. It was not very expensive and the food was pretty tasty. The waiters were there for anything and the chef prepared our food very fast, not longer than 5 minutes. An excellent experience.

I checked in to this hotel the day before I will return to Philippines. This hotel is contemporary, offering great amenities such as pools and foods.
Most of all, I love the foods. You can choose what you like; buffet or ordered and add drinks. Their foods are good in my appetite.
While eating you can enjoy the view of the ships coming in and out at the port of Veracruz. Their attendants are hospitable and adaptable to the needs of their customers.
Rooms are great too. Wide, modern, with a wifi and a lot of charging ports. Views are exhilarating at the glass of the room especially sunrise and sunset.
I hope next time that the room service can speak English well.

I'm a frequent traveler. This was my first time at Double Tree 🌳 Veracruz and it went beyond amazing. The service, THE FOOD, the rooms, the staff and the cleanliness of the building are EXCELLENT. Not the typical 2 star trashy breakfast buffet, their Breakfast Buffet is from another world prepared and served by a TERRIFIC CHEF!! The breakfast dishes are a tour around the Mexican Cuisine. From Perfectly made empanadas to delicious brunch meals. Im not joking, the food here is amazing! AND!!!! They hire people with special needs and disabilities, they give opportunities to women, young students and seniors so their staff is happy and treats you with so much respect and love which makes this place SO SO SPECIAL and lovely. PLEASE stay there this place is now one of my favorite places away from home.
I will stay here from now on every time I come to Veracruz. I honestly think that the quality of the services provided here is beyond amazing. They make you feel pampered, special and at home!!!

I loved this hotel, it is a very busy and popular place in Veracruz, be patient. The staff was awesome.
Security is top notch. The underground parking has restricted access and 24 hours security. I left equipment worth thousands over night with no problems. Please tip well the people are so helpful.
You might get a view of the port and ocean.
It is very centric and walking distance of several atractions.
Rooms are nice and Hilton Honors members have their own floor.
Several good places to eat.
But two blocks North there is this small restaurante "Las Mojarritas" on the street that is incredible.

It is an excellent hotel. Everything is very well done here. Good service, amenities and building. Very good restaurant at a very good price quality relation.
