Museo de Sitio Mina de Acosta

Really interesting. Lots of information and very cool. Never been in a mine before and this was definitely an experience. Just one note. Bring a jacket/sweater and pants!! It’s freezing!! Yeah it could be hot out and your sweating but in the mine it’s freezing!!!!!! Super cool though and you get to wear hard hats which is fun! Price is reasonable. You do have to pay a little extra to take pictures but it’s worth it just at least do one per party. Take a peak at all the extra things around too. Bathrooms there are clean too and like i said everyone is very friendly.

Last tour departs at 16:30, be sure to be there before that. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly.

The museum is really interesting! You only pay $45 per person, if you want to take some photos you need to pay an extra of $25. The tour starts with the story of mining in the region and later you can enter into an abandoned mine, while walking you'll heard the guide telling you some stories about the working of the mine in older years. The tour lasts about 2 hours, I recommend you wearing warming clothes because the air is getting colder while you're walking through the mine.

Excellent place. First time in a mine

It´s a short but very interesting tour however you should take a jacket, it's freezing inside during the winter. if you don't there's usually someone outside that sells local sweaters that are warm and comfortable.

At this mine, which is located just below La Mina Dificultad, you can enter the mining tunnels. The guided tour is rich with the history of mining ,as well as the very complex process of extracting silver and many other minerals. This is a very good tour, a must do to understand the history and the very existence of this town.

A very beautiful place, you can learn about the history of the Mines in Hidalgo. An attraction that you must visit when you come to Real del Monte

I love this place, you can walk through the mine until 400mts. Also know about miner history in Real del Monte and Pachuca.

Pachuca, Hidalgo is a city built over mine tunnels!! A great experience to learn about mining history and get a feeling of what miners had to live!

if you would like to feel the experience of how mining was done in the old days.you must do this tour.

Interesting place documenting old time industry and the bad working conditions of the time. They lent me a wheelchair for our limited mobility mother in law.
