Meche's Homemade Yucatan Food

Homecooking doesn't get more real than this. We arrived at 2pm for a late lunch. The family accommodated us so graciously. Delicious food and great people. Recommend!

You must stop here for a delicious local meal! We had sopa de lima and tortilla de chaya - so so delicious.

Awesome restaurant! This ended up being a highlight of our Hacienda/Cenote exploration day. The restaurant was the most authentic yucatecan food experience in our 5 month stay in Merida. All the food was prepared in traditional style on a fire right in front of us and was absolutely delicious! The family that runs the place was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Don't miss it!

This is the real deal. Yucateco food does not get more authenic. Consider yourself fortunate if you have the experience of eating here.

If you are anywhere near Meche's place at lunch time you must stop here. The food was excellent. The people were even better. This was one of the highlights of our trip through the Yucatan.

Great family local business, here the food is beyond good and you will always recieve a smile from all. Excelent service, incredible people, and delicious food.

What a great find! Delicious, family run, hot, homemade tortillas, delicious chicken and the best chaya con limon I’ve ever tasted.

Este es un hogar tipico Maya, atie den grupos que van a la hacienda mucuyche hay que avisar para que estén listos y apesar de ignorar esta precaución me atendieron, gente muy amable y me toco almorzar un pollo al achiote qué iba saliendo con calesita frijol colado y a precio accesible, lo recomiendo pero so quieren maximizar la experiencia avisen y les preparan lo que gusten. Todo tradicional y a la leña o al horno una grata experiencia para gente aventurera.

Es un lugarcito muy hogareño, cocinan con leña. Comida yucateca de abuelita.
En cuanto a precio aproximadamente 100 por persona. Vale la pena
