El Cielo Restaurant Bar

Super easy walk from the cruise port. The outdoor seating is nice and shaded and looks over the plaza area. The waitress was very kind and was able to speak English enough to take the order, but was happy to see we both spoke Spanish. She then pointed us towards a beach only a couple blocks away with some great views of the coastline. The steak burrito and tacos were phenomenal! Great creamy chipotle sauce we dipped our fries in. Not expensive for quality food either.

We had dinner on Friday night when Plaza Machado is magical. The live music and happy, Friday night vibe was amazing. The food was delicious. We had the deep fried shrimp and the tacos. Both really great. Loved spending time here.

The only down side is being under trees full of pigeons - the out door restaurant floor was covered with droppings and the pidgeons were right above us.

Nice restaurant on the Plaza Machado. Had drinks and shared appetizers. The cheese dip with chorizo was great, so were the stuffed peppers. Nice drinks, too! Great atmosphere on the plaza.

Excellent dining experience. Service was very good. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was subdued (no loud music) and great for conversation. Eating inside, the air conditioning was a relief from the heat and humidity. The menu had a variety of options with an emphasis on seafood (of course!) Both of our meals were served promptly at the correct temperature. A bit on the expensive side but well worth the cost!

Stopped here for lunch during a cruise port stop. Good food and great service. Nice view of the plaza with plenty of shade.

Our friends live here and this is one of their favorite restaurants so we had to try it. We were not disappointed. We had a chicken burrito and a tuna ceviche and both were delicious. Service was excellent as was the atmosphere. We will definitely return.

My wife and I happened upon this wonderful outdoor Cafe in Plazuelo Machado. We decided to celebrate her birthday there. We started off with the most delicious tuna ceviche we have ever had. Both of our dishes were mouthwatering and super flavorful. The waitstaff were attentive and made her birthday very special. We came back one more time for lunch. Just as delicious. Again our server was attentive and she shared a little bit about herself. Shout out to the chefs, and Jaime and Perla for some amazing experiences. We absolutely highly recommend this restaurant.

Great place! Juan Valdez was our waiter and he was fantastic. Will definitely return since he was such a good server and made sure we had everything we needed! Los Crypts was playing nice music as well

Beautiful place to sit outside. Great service and excellent food. All three of us said it was the best meal we'ce had in Mazatlan so far. We got seafood tacos, stuffed shrimp, and a burrito. Also the basil blueberry lemonade was delcicious. We will definitely be back to try more dishes

Luis, our server was very attentive and genuinely sincere. We’ve been to this restaurant before when we visit and we always make sure to have a very nice meal here. The staff is amazing!

Great food, service and location. Had tacos and margaritas. Beautiful tree covered patio on a quiet square. Would definitely rate this amongst the best places we’ve visited on our trip. Wifi.

My favorite restaurant on Plaza Machado. Try the Rocco Shrimp and have the blackberry basil lemonade. The guacamole is delicious. Prepare to smile.

The food was so decadent and exactly what we were looking for (a good mix of mexican flavor with a diverse menu). The seafood pasta was absolutely perfect and thr flank steak was tender, well seasoned and cooked to the perfect temperature. The atmosphere is charming and the service is relaxed but attentive. Ximena was a wonderful mesera and we will definitely come back during our next trip.

My favorite place in Mazatlan Centro. Great food, probably the best hamburger I've ever eaten in my life! Service is good and efficient. Drinks are made from scratch. Good atmosphere with evening music Mondays and Fridays. The expresso drink is amazing. Enjoyed it without the vanilla ice cream.
