This was our first time at Water’s Edge Bistro and we were pleasantly surprised. The live band music was lovely, the food delicious and great atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

We chose this place because of the Google reviews. Our meal was fantastic and everything is made fresh and the care put into the meal truly showed in presentation. Service was top notch including recommendations and making sure we had what we needed. We had the pork chop, red Thia curry, portebello mushroom chicken and bacon penne.

Came in for a craft beer ended up having the whole family come to eat dinner.
After talking to the owner it was a great experience to be able to have And then eat such great food here in Mazatlan. I love it!! I highly recommend this place. Asian flair such a great twist to this area.

Another wonderful evening at Water’s Edge. Madaí and her friends played impeccably and filled the back room. There was a big group of about 40 in the front room but the staff covered everything easily and really enjoyed the special shrimp fettuccini special. Always happy and impressed at Water’s Edge. Top notch staff, music, food and experience.

Had a quick bite and a beer in Plaza Machado before the dinner rush. The dish in the photo was delicious and the hospitality A1.

The Plaza Machado and surrounding Centro Historico feature architecture influenced by the French and Spanish. Definitely a destination not to miss. #plazamachado

I absolutely love this restaurant and come here every time when in MZT. Always great live music, clean, nice environment and really friendly and attentive service. The food is amazing , the wine is great, carajillos are yummy and all very well priced .

Enjoyed another delicious dinner at Waters Edge. For many years it has been consistently one of the finer restaurants in Mazatlan with excellent customer service and food quality.

Loved it last year and it is still as good this year. Great service and delicious food and drinks. Their roasted garlic appetizer is mouth watering.

Wonderful food. They prepare everything by hand from fresh food after you order. We had drinks, the Malbec was very good. We had a wonderful appetizer, the Japanese Gyozas (we chose shrimp but you could do pork or veggie). My wide enjoyed her veggie burger and I had the BBQ pork chop. The veggies were perfect and the BBQ sauce delicious. Everything was superb and the service was very good. They did not have live music on a Tuesday in April, but we've seen live music here before, so you could call and check on the nights. This was one of the best dinners we've had in the city. While our bill for Drinks, Appetizer and dinner was $850MXN + tip, there were cheaper options and a range of budgets available. Valet parking available and seating can be outside on the sidewalk.

Went for margarita Wednesday last night (you get to flip a coin for the full price of the margarita). This place is quaint, classy, and delicious.

The restaurant has the friendliest staff and best live music I’ve heard in months (not too loud; it just added to the ambience - it was a Spanish guitar with an incredible pair of singers).

The menu contains choices beyond what you may expect, and everything I tried delivered.

Contrary to a previous reviewer’s claim, it was filled yesterday (but still didn’t feel packed at all).

Giving this place my full recommendation if you’re looking for a quality meal and experience with the worldly charm of Mazatlan’s centro.

Our dinner ended up being rushed because we needed to get to the theater, but it was wonderful. We will come again when we can linger over it. Great food, cute place, near Plaza Machado but far enough away to avoid crowds.

Certainly one of my favorite places in Mazatlán. The owners are gracious and make every effort to please you. Great staff as well. I enjoy sitting outside and watching the pedestrians go by. I’ve spent many wonderful evenings at this restaurant. I normally post poor experiences, but felt I needed to complement where deserved.

Outstanding food, perhaps the best in Mazatlan, with an Asian influenced menu. Gorgeous back dining room. Live music and dancing in the front. Highly recommended.

Every item is outstanding, from the starters that can easily be a meal though the diverse entrees (desserts must also be good, but our "dessert" is a glass of wine). Waiters (a shout-out to Poncho) and bartender (Cesar!) are personable and attentive - they make Margarita Wednesdays "flip-for-your-drink" a fun game of chance. Live dinner music often in the entry bar / lounge or rear patio where you can see the stars while being entertained - lighting and vegetation give this space extra ambiance. But, you can also eat outside on the sidewalk .Tops for Asian-inspired items. 5-stars.

We had an excellent cooking lesson with Chef Alister last Monday. He communicated with us in advance to learn our likes, sensitivities and food interests then went shopping that morning to get fresh lobster, prawns and produce which he created a menu from just for us. He showed us how to prepare and cook an amazing cocoanut milk, prawn, lobster soup; seared salmon and grilled prawns. We were also taught a different technique for pairing /tasting wine selections to choose which wine worked best for our own palates. Can’t wait to do it again.
