Our hotel was in Morelia. Quiroga was one of our Tour stops: Quiroga is a vibrant town, lots of shops and outside restaurants. Many cars and motorcycles, also cyclists on the roads. We visited Tzintuntzan and Patzcuaro for a little while, and just a picture opportunity in Capula. The tranquility and serenity of these town is very relaxing and magical at the same time

If you love Carnitas and really fancy designs for your home like couches, paintings, and other cool house decorations, then Quiroga is the place to visit. Quiroga is approximately 2 hours west of Morelia. Beautiful town. Lots of traffic and movement.

Beautiful (bellisimo). The best place to buy Artesania Mexicana. Theres so many things you can buy here, candy, pots, decor and food. The best Carnitas are here.

This particular store has a great selection of locally made crafts, but also this is a huge walkable market that is a must visit when at Quiroga, Michoacan. You will be amazed to find some wooden educational toys (montesori style) for a fraction of the price !
