Staff is very friendly, the architecture is amazing. There is definetly a lot of history here. It is very close to the cathedral and the centro historico. There is a nice garden on the side where there are two resident cats that are very sweet. Worth a visit! It wont take up much of your time but has a lot of history.

One of the 3 or 4 main "places of power" or spiritual experience for me in Morelia. Others were nearby, a side part of the main cathedral, the Azul university building where Hidalgo presided, and perhaps the open inner courtyard of our hotel.

There's a cineclub, the seats are comfortable and the admission is free, before the projection musical videos are shown. Also there is a place to study.

If you come here, you need to ask for a guided tour. I received the best service for a guided tour and the person knew a lot of interesting things about Mexican culture and this place.
