Axkan Palenque

Great hotel for the price of a hostel. Clean, spacious, pretty in the jungle. Very flexible, they let us stay there before the check-in, use all facilities and leave our baggage there during a two day trip. The location is great, not to far away from town with colectivos to the ruins passing by regularly from the road further up, but far enough from town to get away from traffic sounds and get some peace in the beautiful forest.

Beautiful location really close to the Palenque archaeological site and also mishol waterfalls! Take a day trip and stay several days at this super relaxed location. It's beautiful!

Beautiful hotel. The booking was perfect. Everything work out. There is one person on staff who speaks english. He is very friendly and helpful. The thatch roofs need to be realigned. They need raingutters in between the units becuase when it rains it pours and funnels through this area. I loved staying here and would stay here again. Fresh squeezed juice everyday and the breakfast is very good.

About 2 miles from downtown, has pool and great walk ways. City has 3 mile bike route along main road to downtown. There's a paintball place about 1/2 a mile away. The pizza place next door and other restaurants within walking distance are delish. Perfect place to rest and relax, Wi-Fi available, if you don't want to completely disappear.

Nice place hidden in the jungle thats in between the city and the archeological site Palenque. Good room service, great food, and nice bar next to the pool. The place is well kept and blends well with the jungle.

Estupendo lugar para ir solo, en pareja o familia. Tiene una rica alberca, el restaurante sirve muy ricos platillos y un menú variado. Buena atención del personal. Recuerda que estás en la selva y eso agrega una atmósfera sinigual.

Schönes Hotel im grünen. 2,5 km ausserhalb der Stadt. Die Zimmer waren gross und sauber, mit Balkon, wurden täglich gereinigt. Pool haben wir nicht gebraucht, sah aber super aus. Restaurant hatte gutes Essen. Minibusse fahren an der Hauptstrasse alle 10min in beide richtungen.

Un auténtico oasis selvático. Esta alejado del pueblo, pero sin problema para desplazarte con bus colectivo o taxi e incluso puedes ir andando, unos 30'. Las habitaciones amplias, limpias y cómodas. El servicio muy profesional, todo perfecto. Tuvimos un problema con el aire acondicionado y lo solucionaron. El restaurante bien y la alberca genial. Esta rodeado de vegetación y los sonidos y bichitos son increíbles.
