I love La Calle Real. Its a great place to visit as a tourist, especially if you have a sweet tooth. The chocolate is amazing but it was said to find out that they buy their chocolate from Nestle like have the world does, but besides that fact they give you an authentic chocolate factory experience which old fashion wardrobe and everything. I recommend the short visit and pick up some great treats to take home with you.

Had a great experience going there. The candy was a little pricey, but it was well worth it. I liked how they dressed up from back then. They were very delicate while packaging my items and they made it look fancy. The tour was also a nice gesture.

The historic tour is quiet nice. The guides are all pleasant and knowledgeable. They showed the machines from years past where candy was made even had a chance to see key ingedients that go into their popular candy. We bought a few treats there including a delicious pound cake. Very nice place, the candy was fantastic.

It was really cool learning about the history of candy in Morelia. The candy & crema were sooooo delicious. Our guide was funny and kind. Only drawback is you must speak Spanish so I had to translate for my partner and in doing so missed some of the info.

We've been treated excellent on every visit. Their dulces are really good. You'll need to take a bottle or two of their delicious Rompopes (tried all but I suggest fig and coffee flavors) and morelianas. The tour they offer into their candy museum is great you'll learn about some of Morelia's history and the factory. And learn how to make "ate de membrillo".

It's a small shop but is located near the hostoric center of Morelia so it is easy to walk to. It has traditional candy from the area. They have a museum in the back and give a tour which lasts about 40 minutes

It was an awesome experience I learned so much about Morelia and its candy history. Admission was 26 pesos which was a fair price but they're candy was a bit pricey but you get what you pay for, good high quality product.

It's the museum of traditional mexican, colonial and prehispanic candy (such as "ate", "obleas", "rompope", etc). It has an explanation of the process of candy construction, a candy store, samples, a traditional toy store, a gallery of old photos of the city and a room where you can take photos in colonial clothing with a backdrop.

Part Museum Part candy store, this is what old fashioned candy is like when you really use fresh seasonal fruit as your favorite ingredient. Pro-tips: Try the guayabate, the candied strawberries and don't miss the rompope (similar to Irish cream) just to name a few!
