Delicious coffee, great food and presentation, beautiful place, and even live music when we went - loved it!

We had the best breakfast and coffee in Melaque at La Taza Negra. It’s very near the beach side end of the Wednesday tianguis. It was busy when we went and sat upstairs in their nice patio. Great service, coffee, pastries and breakfast choices. We did not feel left out 🪑 sitting upstairs. Purchased a few bags of their rich dark roast ☕ Vienna coffee to take home with us. Highly recommend. Expats, locals and Mexicanos all found here!

I love La Taza Negra. I have been coming here on my trips to Barra de Navidad for many years. I usually walk the beach from Barra in the early morning and reward myself with an exquisite cappuccino, the best in all of Jalisco! (They are only closed on Tuesdays). Their food is really tasty too, Chilaquiles with sunny side up eggs and veggies being a favorite. Fruit and yogurt is another. The staff is friendly and understands enough English to take care of your needs. The indoor-outdoor cafe environment is relaxing and stimulates conversation. Try going once, and you will be back.

It's one of the best cafes you'll find in Melaque. Directly beside the market. On market days, it will be busy, but with a bit of patience, you'll soon experience a deliciously fresh brewed, hand crafted coffee.

Amazing coffee shop in Villa Obregon! We always visit when we're in town, and grab a coffee and a muffin (or two or three). Food options are great, and service always comes with a smile. There was also live music the past few times we visited.

Alex the owner is very respectable kind human serving the best specialty coffee in Melaque and beyond. ALL staff are VERY friendly, VERY hard working and INCREDIBLY genuine. Wonderful healthy options for breakfast, great prices, excellent quality. ☀

A great place to grab a coffee - hot or cold. They also have varying cookoes and pastries to nibble on with your drink. The staff are friendly and attentive. There was often live music between 10-11am. T

I always come by for the Americano and occasional "baked goodie" to share with my little son and I always enjoy the artistic vibes of the place and the cool and kind staff, but this time I asked for a Breakfast Burrito with an Oreo Frappuccino to be delivered at home and it was Incredible service and awesome food quality. Both came delivered in a bicycle (awesome) and deluvered the food with perfect temperature and great presentation. The burrito was BEYOND expectations and Frappuccino was delish!

By far highest quality when it comes to ALL in this place. Congratulations guys and THANK YOU for being in Melaque providing city quality and showing that it is possible to do things right in San Patricio who desperately needs examples of how to really do things well.

My favorite coffee place in the world so far, wonderful friendly people and the food from upstairs is delicious, careful the portions are big, one breakfast burrito can feed 2 people

The veggie omelette was my favourite option. My choice was the turmeric chai latte and it was great, spicy option. This place is the best option for coffee by far.
