English books of any kind ,from classic novel to LGBTQ essay .

They have a balcony where you can sit and read your book and have a beer .

This has to be one of my favorite places in Guadalajara.

Amazing experience at this store. There is a huge selection of English books. Downstairs there is a very big selection of free books. The place also has quite a lot of vinyl and offers a balcony where you can read a book and enjoy a cold beer.

As a lover of (good) music in vinyl, and books, I can tell this store is the best one I've visited in Guadalajara. I've been treated very well, very nicely when spending (sharing) my time with them. Hands up and claps!

This bookstore became one of my favorite places in just 15 minutes. The mystery of the place, the variety in books, records, and even clothes, and the amazing people drew me in. I wish I could be there everyday.

Wow, a true gem of a bookstore. It's a true book lovers English bookstore. Well-organized, and a fabulous comprehensive selection of books (and vinyl if that's your thing). Guadalajara is lucky to have this Oasis for English speaking bibliophiles!

La Perla is a fantastic place to find used English language books. If you're looking for a specific title you might have trouble finding it here, but you'll always find a few books you didn't know you were looking for! In addition to books, there are records, vintage wear, cold brew, beer, and homemade kombucha for sale.

I love this store. Every time I go, I feel the need to get something, so I jump in the record selection and let myself go. Highly recommended.
