Sat in the VIP section and it really was that. They had nice cushioned, spacious seating and came and promptly took our drink orders.

The mariachi was great @ the stadium. The field is beautiful more so the weather. God Bless all the players that go and play their hearts out with that soccer ball that requires each individual to be the best team player they can be looking for a win. Have fun at what you do. See you soon……..

A historically important venue. So many great moments in sport & music happened here. Public transit conveniently located across the street. Enjoy the event you attend. The best selfies are on the West side of the structure. The view is fantastic!

Games are usually on friday and saturdays during season, relativably cheap tickets in conparison with other national teams, food and drinks inside

Enjoyed a peaceful Leones Negros vs Pumas CopaMX game.

This is a great Stadium along with housing the 1970 and 1986 World cups present day Leones of U de G and Atlas still play here clean place well kept and well organized to bring people in the stadium and out my Son and I enjoyed this last time We attended.

The atmosphere was super fun! I hate that Atlas lost...but I will return to watch more games.

Good place for casual games, Atlas fans are very passionate about their team. The vibe inside the stadium is great. Beware of games against local team Chivas, people tend to go violent on those games.

Pro Tips for Tourists:
This place is awesome. If there is an Atlas game while you are in town, go! You can purchase tickets at the stadium on game day or in advance on Stubhub if they provide e-tickets. You should be able to find ticket prices on the team's website. We purchased our tickets from the ticket office right before an Atlas game for about 90 pesos, but the cheapest were around 60 pesos. (Note: Atlas is red, everyone wears red)

Apparently for big games (think Chivas, Club America) there are sellouts, but most games have availability. Right outside the stadium there are vendors with tacos and street foods sold at Mexico prices.

Taking an uber from the city was cheap and quick. That said, after the game traffic around the stadium can be rough. I ended up walking back after the game, as it was a 30-40 minute walk back to the historic city center which sounded better than sitting in traffic.

They are really into their SOCCER TEAM in GDL, Jalisco...While the WHOLE TOWN is totally awesome (I spent 11 days there), the Soccer Stadium is FUN & "a cheap date!" GO if you are ever in MEXICO'S 2nd Largest City...IT STILL FEELS LIKE A SMALL TOWN?! --Danny
