Hotel 1697

What a great little hotel just off the main square. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Nice roomy shower with endless hot water. Most of the rooms are facing their quaint courtyard complete with pool. This hotel is quite a gem!
The attached restaurant is an added bonus - great food and drinks.

Just stayed 1 night. I have stayed in many different hotels in loreto, and it was one of the nicer ones as far as rooms go. It's located just at the end of the shopping and restaurant strip, so if you're looking to shop, eat and drink, and don't have to drive, the location is perfect. I've been by it many times but never noticed it was even a hotel. It's well hidden. It's also costs much less than the other nice hotel in the square that is a 1 min walk away. I didn't eat or drink there, so I can't comment on that. The pool is pretty small if you're looking to hang in the pool a lot. Definitely recommend

We loved it here!! It was in a good location and it felt like we found a hidden gem. We were able to walk to all of the town and room was nice and clean. We will be back for sure!

A very pleasant and comfortable place to stay. Quiet and secluded but right downtown on edge of walking streets. Great breakfast. Beds firm and comfortable. Slept like a log!

Super staff great room freshly cooked breakfast and a pool... 8 room hotel made our stay beyond perfect. The staff was exceptional and super clean. You won't be disappointed in anything. Check out the view from our room.

The place is great...awesome craft beer brewed here by the owner...Rooms are very cool and gives you a great Mexican vibe. Located in the old town square. Great people and great service. Highly recommend. I even got sick here with a virus and they specially made chicken soup for me. Can't recommend this place enough

The property is new and clean. It’s located downtown near many restaurants and stores . Walking distance to the beach and mission. The breakfast is good (fresh fruit, eggs, juice/coffee Etc.) The property is gated and has parking. The owner and staff are available and helpful.

I have been to 3 hotels in Loretto
and this is from far the best hotel there, super new, clean and cute. excellent customer service the staff are super friendly and even tho is a little bit farther from the beach compare to the others is the one I would be back to.

A very pleasant small (~ 9 room) hotel in the center of Loreto. Rooms are very comfortable and the pool is great. Service was excellent, and we highly recommend Hotel 1697. We will use it as our "go to" hotel in Loreto from now on. Very convenient for exploring the old part of Loreto, and you are also only 2 blocks from the malecon. Only downside is that parking can be a little difficult as it is street parking.

Nicest hosts ever! Excellent value $$. Clean and cozy rooms. Location could not be better. Sits right on town square, in the central.
