Rooms are comfortable and relaxing. You are literally on the Ocean, so falling asleep to the waves is magical. Mateo and his staff are helpful and accommodating. Great breakfast and coffee shop. The bar and restaurant at night are awesome with one of the best Margaritas in town and a spectacular sunset view. Usually some great music to dine too as well.

Southern hospitality at it's best! Mateo and his staff are friendly and attentive. They go out of their way to ensure that you are having a good time. Nothing is too much trouble for this Southern Gentleman. Crocodile Bar is my favorite spot for sunset margaritas, music and food! I haven't stayed in one of their lovely ocean front rooms personally but my friend did and she said "she had never slept better...the ocean waves lull you to sleep while you dream of your morning coffee under the beach palapa" If you're going to visit La Manzanilla, don't miss stopping in at Crocodile Bar and Cabanas. I highly recommend this friendly, easy going establishment.

Mateo is a great host. Crocodile Bar is a warm, welcoming venue and includes great food, drinks and live music. The setting is incredible and offers spectacular views of the bay and sunsets. Definitely worth checking out.

Crocodile Bar and Cabañas is the absolutely perfect spot to capture the stunning sunsets under a palapa at the edge of the beach. Super friendly service while enjoying drinks, food and/or music ... It really doesn't get better than this!!

Looking for a good time coupled with magnificent sunset view? Look no further than this sweet beachside restaurant at the south end of the beach. Morning’s score great coffee and breakfast fair with shared space partner, Café du Calcetin, and evenings find great food, lively entertainment, tasty drinks and a killer waitstaff. I love how Mateo and the team are always looking for new offerings to keep it fresh and fun. Crocodile Bar and Cabanas needs to be on every visitor’s itinerary.

The Crocodile bar and cabanas, located on the south end of the beach, offers a truly enchanting experience. With its beautiful view, wonderful margaritas, and a small menu of delightful food, I have loved all the meals I have ordered here. The Aztec soup is a favorite of mine.

Mateo, the business owner, adds a personal touch to the establishment. He is incredibly accommodating and possesses a witty sense of humor, making every visit a memorable one. Mateo's dedication to customer satisfaction is evident in every aspect of the bar and cabanas.

The atmosphere at the Crocodile is perfect for relaxation and enjoyment. Whether you want to unwind after a long day basking in the sun or simply watch the sunset in tranquility. Well, not always tranquil sometimes there are musical artist that perform during the week. Where you can dance in the sand and enjoy time with friends.

The menu, though small, offers a selection of delicious food options. From fresh fish Tacos to mouthwatering shrimp and guacamole, each dish is prepared with care. The menu rotates weekly, but Mateo will let you know what’s available.

I cannot speak on the cabanas as I have never stayed there, but from what I’ve been told everyone has had a pleasant experience.

Be sure to sign up for a massage with Mireya, she is amazing. She has a small Palapa on site.

In the mornings the Coffee & food service is managed by Café Du Calcetín . It is excellent and deserves its own 5 star review.

Overall, the Crocodile bar and cabanas is a hidden gem that deserves recognition. With its beautiful location, with refreshing drinks, and tasty food, it provides the ultimate laid back beach experience. If you're looking for a place to unwind and witness a stunning sunset, you won’t be disappointed.

Laid back rustic but clean accommodations in arguably the best part of town. Stayed there on two occasions. Also a fantastic place for sunset margaritas.

The absolute best place to do sunsets on the Costalegre, layback great service friendly proprietor. It’s quintessential Mejico w/o the commercial baggage.

What a great find in La Manzanilla at the south end of the bay This is Mexico 🇲🇽 and it is unique. The owner was great, the food and drinks were excelente and he toured us through some rooms we would consider on another visit (rustic but clean and unique). Friends have also raved about the weekend music and a guest said they now have Starlink. We really enjoyed our I visit, highly recommend.

I so appreciated my stay it was wonderful, watching and hearing the surf is so relaxing and magical. Mateo and his daughter are wonderful host. The place is clean. Laura, Roberto and sons offered delicious vegan breakfasts and their coffee is the best.

Awesome place to stay! The host, Mateo, is the best! He treats his all his guests like dear friends. We spent our wedding anniversary here and ha made our time in La Manzanilla perfect. Nice rustic beachfront bungalows, great cafe, margaritas, and again Mateo is amazing.

Du Calcetin Cafe offers the best breakfast in Mexico! The buffet at MX$150 is unbeatable in quality and value. Roberto, the host, is lovely.

Didn't have the chance to stay in the cabañas but would love to next time - great location at the end of the beach, friendly people, and the coffee at du Calcetín is great. Mateo knows everybody and was super helpful to us when we arrived, muchísimas gracias!
