Went with friends and we were blown away! Javier and His Staff made us feel welcome immediately upon arrival They were concerned we might have trouble with the menu in Spanish, so they went into the back and got an English Speaking Staff Member to see if we needed Help! Thanks Pedro. We ordered and were amazed at how fast our delicious food was served. The place is spacious and well laid out. Everything worked. The entire place was clean and well maintained. The Kitchen was immaculate. (Javier took us on a quick tour. Found Pedro at his station. He runs the huge woodfired Grill. Really looking forward to returning with more friends later. Excellent experience. My Poc Chuc was about the best I can remember and the Charred Habanero Sauce was incredible. Thanks again!!

Great local joint for Yucateca Cuisine. Do not be fooled by the good low prices, the food is exceptional.

I had an excellent experience here. The staff was professional and attentive, patient, and spoke English to boot. The food was excellent, absolutely excellent and the ambiance of a private building was private and felt pretty cool. Prices were very reasonable. I would certainly come back, heck! next time I''m in the Yucatan, I will!

Amazing food! I loved the Poc Chuc here. They have all sorts of traditional Yucatan food and I got the recommendation from a local who lives here. The prices are a little less than the Mirador restaurant which is the other recommended restaurant in the area.

The drive to Ticul to eat at this traditional restaurant is definitely worth it. Try the Poc-chuc pork dish is absolutely delicious. As a starter, the panuchos were perfect. I woukd recommend the Lima water to accompany your meal. The service is friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

The best poc chuc and sopa de lima in Yucatan, this place is a jewel.

This was my 3rd visit. Everything is always fresh, flavorful and well presented.

Most places were closed when we visited Tictul in March 2021, but we had great panuchos at El Principe Tutul, and great service. Just ask a tuc tuc to take you there as it's a kilometre out of centro. Cost is 15 pesos.
