Hacienda Temozon Sur, an IHG Hotel

This hacienda is beautiful, charming and romantic, its a lovely getaway, it used to he a eneque factory, and they show u all the process, and one of the employees, is the latest person that worked in the factory in latest 80s, so he does a perfect reference about the history,the pool is beautiful, and big , the architecture is charming, they also have a nice spa with their own cenote. Nice food options too. Getting there es a bit tricky, bc the conditions of the road, but is totally worthy.

After a busy day exploring the Yucatan, you will enjoy the serenity of Temozon’s gardens, the historical architecture, food and skilled staff that wait on you like royalty. One of my favourite places.

It’s a very peaceful place with good service. The rooms are historic so lots of wood crackling but otherwise very comfortable and nice.

There aren’t enough words to describe this place, which is both stuck in time and still an incredible place to enjoy some rest. Santiago and his team are incredible. They provide excellent service and attention to detail. The rooms are very large and comfortable. Very clean and authentic. We had both a standard room and a large suite, which I definitely recommend as it is considerably larger. The rooms have excellent amenities and I especially enjoyed the bath shampoo, shower gel and conditioner which were presented in lovely small porcelain containers. The staff is exceptionally nice and efficient. We requested that our exterior tub be filled with water and were asked whether we would like it to be cold or water. One gentleman spent nearly 1 hour cleaning the tub and even brought some chairs and plants to make the whole area much more comfortable.

The main building is very comfortable and pleasant for dinner and drinks. The food is great, tasty and very well presented. Breakfast has a very large offer, with a special highlight to their bread basket which is delicious. Lunch and dinner menus are also great and tasty with plenty of options.

The pool area is great with plenty of space to enjoy some rest. Sadly the only downside of the whole experience was that the pool water had sometimes dirt that continuously fell despite the attempts to keep it clean.

On the day of our departure, we were forced to amend our itinerary due to an upcoming hurricane. We inquired whether we could extend our stay but were asked to move to another property in order to ensure our safety. Santiago, the property manager, assisted us in finding an alternative and even made the booking for us over the phone. We really appreciated his help with this and are very grateful.

I would definitely recommend this marvellous place not just for the amazing scenery but also for the super attentive staff which deserve all the best.

Our friends got married at this beautiful hacienda, the staff and food were the best. Great customer service, the rooms are clean and spacious, and we had the whole place for ourselves. Way to represent Merida. 💗

Beautiful place very interesting how they kept the machines visible that where used in the olden days for the production of sisal. The pool is great. The massage room is very nice just a pity that they charge a lot if it would be cheaper people would use it a lot more. The food is not up to standard for a hotel that is so beautiful. I would also recommend a walk true the little town very friendly people.

Beautiful and luxurious hacienda. Staff is very thoughtful. Food delicious. Highly recommend this charming hotel. The espressos are amazing!! We really enjoyed our breakfast: yogurt, toast with honey and home made jam and banana pancakes. Dinner was great too!

My husband and I spent 2 nights here for our babymoon and had the best stay. The staff are all simply amazing, every single person we spoke with including the restaurant staff were so helpful and cheerful. I really can't rave about the staff enough.

We hit up the restaurant a couple of what would be deemed weird times and there was no problem ordering exactly what we wanted even though the kitchen probably wasn't fully set-up when we arrived. Every meal we had there was spot-on, including breakfast.

The pool and loungers were perfect for hanging out and the pregnancy-specific massage I got at the spa was hands down the best massage I've ever had anywhere.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Excellent! We enjoyed the hospitality of each employee. Beautiful rooms with many details like flowers, hammock etc Great food. Great natural conditioner says my wife as an expert. Beautiful setting around the pool.

The hacienda collection hotels are all worth visiting. While we enjoyed the others more, they are all five star. Spacious, quiet grounds give this a true unique feel, with rooms that are converted old outer buildings

Extremely friendly staff. Excellent, very large room and beautiful grounds. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were both very good. The hammock in our room and private outdoor bath tub were both great.

30 minutes outside merida lays this beautiful hacienda with great food and great service. Definitely a must stay.

Great place to visit. Remote, relaxing, and staff is friendly, and full of smiles. The property is clean, and well kept. Visit the straw factory on property to take you back 300 years. Very peaceful and relaxing. We will be going back. Restaurant has great food also. With Yucatan ingredients.

Very lovely property and friendly staff, pool area is incredible, this could be an aviary with all the birds probably drawn by the water. There is also lots of old machinery from the Hemp making days. Uxmal site and other small artisanal towns nearby.

A bit of old Mexico. OK folks, there is more to Mexico than Cancun. Expand your experience by actually experiencing the bueaty of Mexico by getting off the beaten path. This hotel is worth getting out of your comfort zone.

Cenote Sacamacuy was worth the trip here. A 20 minute ride on a wooden cart pulled by a donkey to get there. It is a little smaller than some of the more tourist oriented Cenotes, but you'll likely have it all to yourself.

If you are looking for seclusion and beauty this is the best place. Lovely staff and stunning structures. I recommend to ask for the tour of this magnificent Hacienda.

Fabulous! This is a beautifully restored hacienda. Our room was lovely. Meals were fantastic. Hope to return one day.

One of my favorites places ever. Amazing food, rooms and employees. Can't wait to return!

It has a great atmosphere and it is bigger than the others if you like more open space and a great pool.
