Must see! We've been a lot of places and done a lot of things, but so far, this was our kids' favorite of all time! Yucatan Cenote Eco Adventures was an amazing tour service and we loved every minute of visiting the cenotes and the lunch in the Mayan village!

The water was extremely clear and the perfect temperature. The workers were very helpful. The view from the top and bottom of the cenote was amazing.

Nice and quiet place where mostly locals gather. The atmosphere was nice and the water is clear (bring your mask). Life jackets can be rented. Entry and parking fee (see other pictures), managed by locals.

You must visit and swim at this local cenote. A wonderful lunch is also offered as an option. Jump off the platform for extra excitement.

Beautiful place! Water is crystal clear and with a mask you can see 10-15m under water. Wearing a jacket is optional. Price was alright (i think it was less than 100 pesos). You should visit here if you have the chance and come during midday when the sun shines directly on the water.

Beautiful cenote. I think it's rather small but didn't feel crowded. You pay $50 pesos for parking and $60 per person for entrance. They have just a small shack where you can change.

This is an amazing cenote. Absolutely beautiful clear water, very welcoming people and 2 diving platforms. It's quite remote and rustic. It's not fancy, but well worth the 100 peso entrance.

If you want your money to go straight to locals, this is your spot.

Life jackets are provided but not required.

The best cenote we visited. Crystal clear water, friendly owners, not so busy and some jumping platforms. Nothing much to snorkel here but super worth it.

This cenote is perfect for those who are looking for a high place to jump. The place was a little crowded but is big enough not to feel overwhelmed by it. They have a smaller platform that you can jump if you're afraid of the highest jumping site. $50 pesos for parking and $60 pesos per person.

Best cenote we visited for swimming and freediving.
Entry fee 60 pesos
Life jackets are free but not required
Set inside a picturesque hole, the water is crystal clear, probably 15-20m visibility from the surface. And the sunlight reflects onto the depths below in a brilliant manner. Very suitable to practice some freediving (to max depths approx 20m) maybe deeper but then you'd be in a cave (I didn't go that deep).
If you come here midweek you may be likely to get it to yourself. On the weekend there will be a few people around but not too many.

Honest people where you can change behind a curtain and enjoy a nice cenote. There's a platform to jump.
Have a drink after, you can park here (for free).

Current entrance fee as of January 2023 is; 80 pesos per person if you will be going into cenote and 40 pesos per person if you plan to just sit around and watch people jump in and swim. This cenote is very clean. The best time to go is from 12-3 when the sun directly hits the water. It looks so beautiful! One other plus about this cenote is that there are very few people most of the time. This cenote is owned by the villagers unlike the cenote near by that charges almost ten times more, i won’t mention the name. My kids especially liked the jumping platform. If what you are looking for when cenote hopping is; cleanliness in the water, cenote that you can high jump into and a great price, then this is it!

Oh it doesn't get much better than this
I'm not sure whether it was the rickety stairs or the people jumping in at least 20 metres that had my heart bounding but feeling totally alive. This was the second cenote I visited and although the first one was the better of the two, this was still amazing.
For divers, there is a rope on a pulley that is used for divers to haul their tanks up and down. Which is a good reason to have it there because the stairs are so dodgy.
Water is a lovely refreshing temperature and very deep.
This is where people were jumping off into the water and if Tripadvisor was able to load videos it would be quite a sight as I took quite a few in slow motion.
The people whose land this is on expect a payment which is fine. But they also supply basic refreshments and food. Plus you can talk to them about their life and their land. Truly lovely people.
Not wheelchair friendly. Be careful if you bring your kids here.

Beautiful cenote, open air, lots of light.
Clean refreshing water. More popular with the locals than tourists which is perfect.

This is a hidden gem. Worth the trip out of Merida, or on your way back from Uxmal ruins. Small location with friendly people from the town to interact. Price was 80 pesos today, but town sets rate, so can adjust. Definitely worth it. Parking on street is allowed. Private parking with numbered spots will charge additional to park in their spaces as they are not linked to the cenote. Beautiful blue water, and very deep cenote. Water is warmer than most due to the sun warming the surface. Stairs lead down to the water, but there is a platform you can dive from if desired. Cliff top has a spot for those daring to jump. Cenote is deep enough to take the plunge.

We loved it. It was private ( we came at 12:30 p.m) nobody was there but even so it's a big cenote. Very fun!

Beautiful place. We had the cenote to ourselves for 2 hours. Cristal clear water, 4m and 9m jumps. Price is really low in comparison the the cenote 200m further. Nice people, drinks, toilets, etc available.

Great Cenote, inexpensive, clean, good water and fun. I recommend it to anyone in the area. The stairs are easy enough to get in and out of.
