Posada Ya´ax Ich

This hotel stay was one of the highlights of my trip. The room was comfortable with both A/C and fan but not fancy, the pool is gorgeous and the staff are WONDERFUL! I showed up late without a reservation and they honored an online price-match and gave me a bigger room with a kingsize bed and balcony overlooking the pool. Made my stay in Izamal easy and enjoyable.

Visited October 20 to 21st 2023. A room for 3 people is $882 MX peso. It was a comfortable stay, 2 queen sized beds and a shower with somewhat okay water pressure. It's close to the market.

This is one of the best places I've stayed in Mexico especially for the price range. The posada is more like a bed & breakfast, with the rooms attached to the family house - a very new, very comfortable building. Rooms are large with AC, a ceiling fan, and great bathrooms. Hot water works excellently. Wi-fi signal is strong in the room. They tell me there's a pool though I didn't use it. Location is 6 blocks from the main plaza at the center of town.

It's worth mentioning that the family that runs the place is terrific. Very sweet and attentive and they went out of their way to make recommendations for me and make sure I knew my way around. At the same time they have given me my space and privacy, no problems at all. The area is safe and quiet.

I paid MXN $470 (about US $32) for a room for one person (king size bed) in Feb 2015. Price includes coffee and toast in the morning. They have purified water available for guests. If you don't like a B&B type feel then this isn't the place for you but otherwise I highly recommend it.

When I went to stay at this hotel during my stay in Izamal, I found it a very economical option and lived up to the quality it offers. The hotel offers free parking, high-speed Wi-Fi connection as well as a laundry service. The rooms have air conditioning. I think it's a good place to rest after the long trips that are usually made when you vacation in Yucatan.

This is the nicest hotel in town, family run like a B&B. WiFi signal strong in the rooms, hot water in showers, nice amenities like coffee and toast in the mornings, city center is 6 blocks away.. Around $25 USD

Great stay!!! Very calm and quiet location, friendly staff, comfortable room, beautiful pool and garden.

This is a wonderful posada. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the pool is shallow but enjoyable. The restaurant Zamna is closeby and the walk into town is easy.

Great posada! The wifi could be more consistent, but the pool makes up for it!

Cadre superbe 😍 très reposant et la piscine jusqu'à 22h c'est le top. Véhicule souhaité pour aller au centre ville sauf si vous aimez la marche.

Es un lugar agradable con un toque hogareño super cómodo, limpio.
El personal es amable con la atención personalizada.
Junto a mi familia elegimos el lugar para vacacionar cada vez que podemos y nunca nos ha decepcionado.

La alberca siempre limpia, agradable terraza para un buen descanso.

Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Hotel céntrico, limpio, hermoso, buena atención, alberca y jardín muy bonitos, buen precio todos los servicios lo recomiendo.

Cómodo, accesible y bien ubicado. Pasamos solo una noche y fue una estancia cómoda y con un excelente servicio. Los cuartos impecables y las camas muy agusto. La alberca y la terraza son un plus. Los niños nadaron mientras comimos algo. De las mejores opciones en Izamal sin duda.

Solo el estacionamiento está muy pequeño pero puedes dejar tu vehículo dentro del área del hotel

Excelente lugar, el personal es súper atento y el lugar es bonito. Algo retirado de la plaza principal, pero está bien si te gusta caminar. Además la alberca es excelente. Buen lugar para ir con la familia.
