Hilltop Market

The best small family owned business. They have a lot of last minute items we all mostly forget to buy when buying groceries at larger stores. Such as pickles, hamburger bread, condiments etc. They also have a small section with fresh fruits and veggies. The meat is always fresh and low prices. It's always clean and doesn't smell funny like most small markets do. The service is very friendly, helpful and super fast. Just a heads up the check out is a little tight. I recommend starting the line by the beer section if you're using a shopping cart. The parking lot just got expanded so there's more space available. EBT, WIC is accepted. ATM is available outside the store.

Love this place the owners and workers are all great love them all. Good prices do most of my shopping here for groceries and now they're getting gas pumps installed so they are gonna be a one stop shop for it all!

Been shopping here for 10+ yrs. Owners feel like family. My mom and I don't have a car, and they know this. When my mom buys too many groceries they usually offer to drive her all the way home (we're locals) so she doesn't have to carry it home by foot. What other grocery store would do that for you!?!

Besides that, the meat section is fantastic. Buy all your meats from here you won't be disappointed. Top quality.

The cashier is very nice & sweet. Asked if there was something that I needed. if the didn’t carry it, they would try to get it in. Meat looked fresh & produce was crispy. Kiwis were delicious.

Family own and it shows, the whole family and staff is amazing. Personal level of customer service. I have never walked out of there wishing I Gone to a bigger store because they have EVERYTHING! I truly appreciate having them in our neighborhood

AMAZING ATMOSPHERE. love this place right here. I go here at least 6 days a week. We all know eachother on a first name basis. They help with groceries to your car if needed, make special orders for certain products if you really need it, all around great neighborhood market. 10/10

A tiny whole on the wall. The BEST cashier ever she is a SWEET HEART. Fresh produce the meat department very well stocked and the entire little store has everything for a barbecue party or just the weekly groceries for delicious family meals at very reasonable prices. We love there flour tortillas too.

My family and I go to Hilltop Market frequently. They always have what we need. Service is great and everyone is very helpful and friendly.

Everything here is awesome! There is a huge selection of hot sauces and Michelada cups. I drive out of my way to pick up the their green salsa and ceviche when we have family over.

I stop there often because I can get good meat and poultry. Good selection of liquor. I recommend the meat market.

I love Hilltop market. They are stocked with a nice variety of items and quick to get in and out with what you need rather than getting stuck in the chaos of a large supermarket. Great customer service. Excellent chorizo and carne asada in the meat department.

I love Hilltop Market been going there for years there just like family and since I moved to El Cajon it really sucks because there were not right down the street but I'd give them a 20 * if I could love them the whole family is amazing

Best market with a Liqour license. Rare bottles is their secret🤫. Ask and they will get it for you if they dont have already

The merchandise is a little pricier than some places but the employees are friendly, helpful, and kind and the selection is good.
