Don't waste your money! We paid for a snorkeling tour to Marbul and Kapalai and all we've been doing is sitting a boat being pounded by waves waiting for other tourists taking pictures of themselves on Marbul Bungalow for an extra RM 50 for 30 mins. This is an over priced tourist trap. We should be swimming with turtles, but we're just getting sick on petrol fumes. Save your money and avoid Semporna. Last time we'll be here.

To add to the above. After waiting in the boat we were taken to the other side of Mabul, given a basic lunch. I asked for fins, they said they didn't have any😡. When I jumped in, I could sense the current was strong, even for me as a good swimmer. I told them to move to a safer area as some on the boat were not good swimmers. They really should tested the water before sending us in. Anyway, we finally snorkeled (they did find me a pair of fins), after 30 mins they called us in. They took us to the second island which was rough water. We saw 2 turtles on the the bottom of the sea. 30 mins later, they called us in again and we went back, arriving at 3.30🤬. What a joke! RM 150 each for 1 hr if snorkeling!!! Really, don't waste your time and money 😏
