√On our first day, there was leaking water in the sink but they were able to give us another room because there was no maintenance staff available since we arrived at night.

Cons:

Our room is near the lift so you can hear the people talking and the footsteps.

No toothbrush, toothpaste and shampoo

We will definitely choose Pantai Inn again and again!!!

Pantai Inn was our hotel at Kota Kinabalu for 2 nights. It's great value for money. Good location, nice and friendly staff, clean and newly renovated rooms. Individual single beds for us (we're 3 travel buddies).

It's conveniently located and near the destinations that we wanted to visit. It's walking distance to many interesting places.

The room a bit small. But its great place to stay. Recommended place as it near to most hot spots in Kota Kinabalu. But sadly no complimentary toiletries except for bathing soap maybe. Overall. It nice and pleasant experience.

Great location. Very clean rooms. They replaced our towels and replenished our coffee and tea our second day. Free hot and cold water from the water dispenser outside the rooms. Some noise can be heard from nearby food court but it did not bother us. Comfortable beds. A 24 hour convenience store and a restaurant are right beside the hotel.

Dont judge the book by its cover. Perhaps you might want to think twice when you saw the location around ordinary pedestarian walk. But try to stay one night at their fully renovated hotel rooms and you will find how cosy and comfortable it is for a very affordable price. I will be back again soon to stay at this highly recommended hotel around Gaya Street in Kota Kinabalu Sabah.
