This is not the first time I come here to renew/change passport. But this time, I needed to book my entry online. I booked on December 2023 and got a date on February 2024. Entry was fast. Some people without booking needed to queue very long.

I came after lunch as my appointment was at 3pm. They allowed me to go in early. I did not have to wait under the sun during lunch break between 1pm to 2pm.

Once inside, I had to wait for 80 people before I get to the counter. It was fast. It took around 1 min per person. After an hour of sitting, my turn arrived. It took the officer less than 5mins to complete. Can choose to pay cash or e-wallet via mCash.

I came around 2pm and finished by 4.15pm. I park beside the embassy. The parking charges was Rm13.00.

The passport will be done in 7 working days in which we can choose to collect at any 58 post office around malaysia and I chose the one nearest to my address.

Really the embassy staff all very very helpful to our local Malaysian to. All seround very very clean in Waiting area.

This place is quite busy during the weekdays, the parking lot available beside the building. There is a free fotocopy service inside, praying room and toilet. The place is clean and air conditioned.

Service quality has improved so much. I came to renew my passport and then the process was fast. The staffs help well. Keep it up👍🏻

The renewal passport process only took 5 minutes. Book your appointment date online. Just make sure you bring all documents needed. Free hassle, very efficient and all staffs are helpful. Passport will be posted to the nearest home main post office. Keep up the good work ! 💪

Amazing service. Pasport replacement from taking number to getting the post slip (the pasport can be sent via post to the nearest post office since we live in a different state) took about 50mins. Online appointment was a breeze making the place not severely crowded. There's a parking lot nearby at rm5 for the 1st hour and rm4 subsequently. Thanks for such wonderful work! Kudos esp to Loket 10 officer who was not only knowledgeable but friendly too.

Ok not crowded since the queue by online appointment but the passport cannot take by 1 day or 2 day now must by pos Malaysia and it's about 1-2 week ready to collect at the post office

I recently needed to renew my maid's passport and I was dreading it. Most passport renewing services wanted RM700 to 1.2 thousand for it. I decided to to try doing it myself.
So I made an appointment on the embassy's website(it's done using the IndoYnesian passport). Quick and simple process. It needs a blue background passport photo, and a copy of the passport. They then send a qrIndoYe that needs to be used at the embassy.
Took a Grab over and luckily I did. There's no nearby parking or stop point. We were guided to Gate 1 of the embassy. They scan the QR code quickly then head in to wait for a free counter.ô Cost of the passport... Rm105. We were done in about 1 hour. At the end we were given an option to have the passport sent to the nearest major post office which was amazing. Don't have to come back to the embassy!
Kudos to the Indonesian team for embracing technology better than our own.

Must come base on appointment, must wear double mask, and make photocopy of your documents..without any of those, they won't let u in/proceed your matter. No more long queue like before, everything go so fast. Great job!!

Smart on giving decision. Malaysia embassy request for name confirmation (because in passport got surname), from Indonesia embassy suggest to change born cert.

Work like Indonesia government motto. If got more complicated why need an easy option.

Quite impressed to be treated politely in a place like this. Honestly, I expected to be treated as cattle as usual. However, the lady who's giving general information in the visa section was nice and patient, despite the constant flow of people asking her random questions. The man doing my visa behind the counter was also very polite.

Very fast service I applied for two months visit visa within 3 days I got my visa and the Embassy staff are very friendly. I really appreciate ❤

took my help to renew her passport. took about 4 hours even with an appointment that took 4 week to get. Passport collection would be at your nearest post office. thank God you don't have to wait another 4 hours at KBRI.. just take week.

KBRI has improved a lot to manage their services and accessibility since the first lockdown. Although it's PKP 3.0 and counters (loket) are closed, now one may find the contact for whatsapp only or email posted at the guardpost/entrance to make enquiries. Respond may be slower than expected, but bearable. Use this contacts only if it's real urgent.

In normal days, service at the consular are good. Collect the queue number by services required at the 1st floor entrance, and wait for your no. to be called as displayed. In general, the staff are professional handling their request at the counter. Mostly are well-mannered. Readily provide their advice & knowledgeable staff

I came here to renew my passport. I did online registration first to get queue number.
The process at the embassy from beginning till finish was very fast. It was only take 40 minutes.
All staffs are friendly.
