Cafe, breakfast place, lunch and cakes - really good food, many sambals. Also doubles as a small art exhibition. Lovely people, who take their time with their customers and are very open and real.

Had a really nasi lemak w tender chicken curry and a coconut coffee milkshake - what the family had also tasted absolutely great.

So lucky to have found this place! The absolute best lunches, and super welcoming owner. As a veggie travelling with a non-veggie this place was the absolute perfect spot as neither of us compromised! Don’t think this is just a spot for veggies, it caters for absolutely everyone and all the food is fresh and delicious (homemade sambal!). The deserts are also amazing, we are just sad we couldn’t try their homemade pastries they make on the weekend!

I love their rendang tempeh – my favorite place! They also serve a delicious mango cake, and it’s a great spot for vegans.

We loved this place, went two times during our stay in Kuching. The food is awesome, with lots of vegetarian and vegan options, prices are reasonable and the owner is very friendly.

Tonnes of great vegan options here! They’ve recently updated their menu to add more cruelty free options. It’s a cosy place to dine and work from, though outlets are limited. They also sell quite a bit of local artwork and handicrafts if you’re into that.

In this place they really know how to make good food! All the dishes and drinks were amazing.
Good combination of flavours and you con feel that the food is really fresh.
10/10
Its also a very nice space and good vibes.
We also made up a new drink: Nuttyspresso, a coconut, peanuts and espresso shake!!
Delicious!!

Nice cafe to lepak with friends; for chitchat and do arts together. Some friends did some drawing here pre-covid era.

I had the kefir mango lassi, very nice as I like any yogurt-y drink. And one of their cake of the day, Nutella chocolate. A bit disappointed by the cake tho. Anyway, a lot of insta-worthy corners all over the cafe to take photo at.

Edit 2023: I'm still ordering the same drink tho, my fav. This time we had more food. Absolutely loved the nasi lemak. Beef lasagna also not bad. Cake of the day, lemon cheesecake- very nice. Cheesecake never disappoints.

Anyway, to be fair, on my previous visit, it was post-covid time. Cafe & food places just started to reopen, might explain the disappointing nutella chocolate cake.

Enrolled for cooking class here: rm180 per person. The day started with breakfast in its artistic ambience then introductions with Trudy and Nurul, who drove us all off to kubah ria market for supplies at 8.30am. Then cooking session began on the upper floor. It took about no more than an hour for us to complete all 5 menus, which turned out to be our lunch. A fun and interactive way to learn more about local food and to enjoy serving them once cooked. Also a great way to bond with loved ones, and the staff there too.

Wow!! Great food, great staff, great coffee, and great tours. I was in Kuching with my parents and over a week we visited here 3 times for breakfast - possibly because they sell excellent espresso coffees and open at 8am :) we loved the homemade spicy sambal, tribal food specials, the weekend curry puffs, and the kaya toast!

The Jungle Batik cake comes highly recommended. Fell in love for the first time with kek lumut right here.

Food is great, coconut coffee is great, people are even better. We loved stopping by Indah on a stroll through Kuching and chatting with Colin for an hour while we ate!

Lovely little cosy nook of a cafe tucked away along a side lane right in the centre of town, at Carpenter Street.

Indah Cafe is at 38,Upper China Street, owned by Colin Ong and serves great food, local and fusion.

I loved the ambiance and cosiness and friendly staff and good service. Great nasi lemak varieties, reasonable prices and authentic taste!

Try it out. Its good 😋👌🙏🤗😁

Such a great experience for a vegetarian to eat there. Tempeh products are delicious and the veggie burger was great too. Fresh coconut water was served in a giant coconut and was if a great taste. Prices are reasonable (around 10 RM for a meal)because the quality is really high. Coffee was also nice after all the 3 in 1 drinks (cannot call it coffee 🙂)

Indah House Kuching was a wonderful place to stumble upon on our first afternoon in Kuching. Aside from great food (in terms of offerings, price and equally loved by a vegan and non-vegans), Indah House Kuching has a great vibe - a cool place to hang out, attentive staff and a cosy feeling.

In addition, Indah House Kuching offers a range of tours in the Kuching area. We did the day tour to the orang utan sanctuary [unfortunately for us, we didn't get to see orang utans which is - with regard to conservation - a good sign], a local longhouse, and hot springs. From the get go, Lucian (our guide) was professional, friendly, and readily shared his knowledge and answered our questions. Our conversations veered back and forth between history, culture, fauna/flora, and more. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed seeing a snapshot of Sarawak and learning more from Lucian whose love of being a guide shines through.

I love this place!

Really funky art cafe serving delicious food including a good selection of vegan options.

Yummy shakes and really friendly staff make this place a must-go spot in the center of Kuching.

Nice selection of art work and postcards for sale, plus a great little lending library with adult and kids books available.

They also offer cooking classes and access to tours (we went to Bako with a guide booked through them who was absolutely fantastic whose name was Rie).

Definitely worth calling in for a drink and/or some food while in the city. The only down side is that they close at 5pm, but a lot of places here do seem to close ‘early’.

Fantastic cafe with huge amounts of vegan and vegetarian options. Also able to book tours, buy souvenirs and take part in cooking classes. Staff are extremely friendly and speak an amazing level of English- coming here is an absolute joy and a perfect way to start the day.

The vegan tempeh rendang roti wrap was so delicious I ordered another wrap (a caramelised tempeh one) just to try it. They were both super tasty, reasonably priced and in a lovely setting, with very friendly staff. It was a pleasure eating here and so exciting to see a vegan menu.

Opening hours extended, now 8am-8pm. Good food- burgers (vegan burger, veggie burger), wraps, local food (daging masak merah, nasi lemak, rendang, etc.), soba, smoothie bowl, pasta (bolognese, pesto), cake (they used to have lots of local variations why I don't know why they no longer have those, just the usual western ones).

Drinks (smoothies- coconut shakes, usual ones- coffee, tea).

Private tours- just ask them.

Local souvenies- from local artists. Scarves, soaps, postcards. Particularly liked the Kucing/cat postcards, so I'll upload those, for your reference. It's pretty, isn't it.
