A small sized hawker centre that is relatively less busy.
The food is good and tasty. Comes relatively fast.
Service is alright. Various hawker stalls servers are friendly, but others are busy with their lives.
Payment made by cash like most hawker centres as they bring in the food and drink to us on the table.
There is plenty of parking available nearby.
Good place to go if you are a non-vege, but one stall did customise a vege dish as well. It's not an ideal place for vegetarians.
The table and chairs are clean and well spaced and ventilated.

Tian Lai is a new corner shop lot in Kopitiam that offers a variety of local dishes, such as Nyonya Laksa, Mee Hoon Kueh, Lor See Fun, Hee Kiaw Mee, and Char Siew Wan Tan Mee. The highlight of this place is the Melaka-style duck noodle stall, which serves both soup and dry versions of the noodles. The duck meat is tender and flavorful, and the noodles are springy and well-coated with the sauce. The soup is rich and aromatic, and the dry version comes with a small bowl of broth on the side.

The Kopitiam is bright and clean, with marble-top tables and sturdy wooden chairs. The service is fast and friendly, and the prices are reasonable and affordable. Parking is easy to find, and the location is convenient. The Kopitiam also serves hot and cold drinks, such as Milo Kosong, which is a perfect accompaniment to the noodles.

I have visited Tian Tian Lai several times with my wife, and we have always enjoyed our meals there. We especially love the Char Siew Wan Tan Mee, which is our favourite dish. The char siew is made on site with an infra-red mini-oven, is crispy and juicy, and the wan tan is plump and tasty. The noodles are cooked al dente, and the sauce is savoury and sweet. We also like to try other dishes, such as the Nyonya Laksa, which is spicy and creamy, and the Mee Hoon soup with a poached egg, which is light and comforting. We have also noticed a new stall that offers 'sek pang' or grouper fish slices noodles or porridge, which we plan to try next time.

Tian Tian Lai is a great place to have a satisfying and delicious breakfast or lunch. It is one of the best Kopitiams in Melaka, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves local food.
