Chiva Coffee

A small café that has very good coffee. The owner really knows his stuff, roasts his own beans, and chooses some really great beans. Beans seem to change every seven to ten-days, and i am yet to be disappointed, from geisha's on pourover to funky passion fruit flavours. The owner is also a font of knowledge.

A cute café with a great selection of coffee (and milk types), homemade pastry, and cozy interior. My favorite coffee place in Old Scheveningen.

Really lovely little coffee shop that I visited with my wife and children while we were visiting family. The owner roasts his own beans, pours great latte art and is really friendly. Charlie the dog also appreciated my girls petting him the whole time we were there. Recommended.

Perfectly made coffee. Full of flavour and body.

Really nice Colombian coffee. Served with a glass of water, is the perfect touch. Owner is very nice. They also have sweets which combines perfectly to cut the bitterness of coffee.

There's no plant tax hooray!!!!!!! (This means that plant-based/vegan milk options don't cost more)

Such a lovely place! Make sure to try the scones/sconies. They're like fluffy delicious oatmeal cookies! The store has great atmosphere. Make sure to look around you when you're inside! There's often local art (from his wife?) on display which you can buy as well. Of course the coffee is great too. Many of the beans are from his family (in Colombia). He'll be able to tell you very much information about the beans, even if they're from somewhere else.

The store is small so for (electric) wheelchair users it might be hard to get inside, but the counter is very close to the door so the owner will definitely help you get a great cup of coffee :)

Chiva Coffee is a truly amazing spot in Scheveningen. The coffee was magic. Every variant we tried blew us away. Even the decaf with oatmilk tastes likes ambrosia. Five stars and will soon be back

Very nice, tiny coffee place with skilled barista and delicious coffee. Don’t get a cup „somewhere“, go there. Srsly! The dog is cute too, and the latte-art looks like a squirrel - kinda.

Probably the best cafe Ive been to! Cosy and great coffee(with reasonable price). The owner has a passion about coffee and really friendly. I sat there all afternoon cause it’s such a nice atmosphere there:) they have a cute dog as well

The coffee here is my favorite in The Hague so far. It’s a cozy place and you can tell the owner is very passionate about coffee. I’ve even had a few conversations with friendly locals that hang out there from time to time.

Excellent hand brew and espresso. Best flat white I've had in a while though I visited lots of cafes in Amsterdam in the days before. Definitely go there if you're in Den Haag.
