Ascendance - yoga for joy

My first ever experience with yoga was in 2018. I had my first Classical Hatha Yoga class from Shivangi. I was blown away by the peace, attention to detail and care from her side. Till this day I am returning to her for more practices, correction sessions and volunteering opportunities. Her studio is something else, the peace is very palpable. She is not just a teacher, my life has been transformed since I met her. To any true seeker I recommend Shivangi.

Me and my wife learnt yogasana. These practice has immensely benefited us. It's a complete body and mental workout. You feel more energetic and balanced with the practice.
Shivangi is a great teacher. She answers all of your the query even afterwards. Highly recommended.

I rarely ever write comments or reviews but this time I decided to write a comment on a wonderful Hata Yoga teacher Shivangi I meet last weekend in Boxtel. I was amazed with love and commitment that she has in teaching us. With so much attention and care for all participants showing us to the perfection every detail of Yogasanas practice. Also, the way of passing the knowledge is with full love and care. I am so happy to had opportunity to meet Shivangi. For sure I will come back for additional programs as she is the best teacher I get to know. Must add that studio is a beautiful place with so much positive energy , I loved spending time in this space .I come to Netherlands from Serbia for this class and it was worth it in every way. Who ever is interested to do real yoga I highly recommend to visit Shivangi

I felt I am in a place part of Ashram, surrounding with very nice people Shivangi is very nice person,genius to share the knowledge, open to share her experiences and answer questions, she took care of everything, the place, the food, the environment that we need to be in. Wonderful experience
Shivangi is the most devoted yoga teacher I have ever seen. super kind and pure and totally professional. The atmosphere that she created is super peaceful and heart opening. it feels like a temple. she also listen to every single person in class and after class and the level of relationship is so deep that you can feel you are in right place to learn and go through your way. From the first 30 seconds that I closed my eyes to start in silence, I felt the energy rising... Wow, I knew this is going to be a good experience, and indeed, amazing, what a weekend, intense Hata Yoga program and a great teacher, Shivangi is there for you, for practices, information or just for a chat during the break. And I loved the space.
But her "Why" she is doing this is what have keped me interessted, her passion to help more people toward own wellbeing.

I have visited yoga teacher Shivangi many times to receive various practices. Her enthausiasm, commitment and passion have touched me every time. Ascendance Yoga and Shivangi is the best place for learn Classical Hatha Yoga. Shivangi has such a nice, peaceful, patience and full of love & joy personality. I feel so blessed that she is my teacher and life gave me this experience.

The studio has something very special feeling when you get into, the peace what is around you, makes you forget all your lifeproblem and Shivangi taking care of all the details just to make sure you are feeling good.
The classes are miracles, from the beginning to and end, Shivangi notice even the smallest mistake just to make sure you are doing in the right way, and when I am at home doing it alone, her words are always in my head and helping me through the practice.

This studio is really beautiful and well taken care of. Shivangi is a lovely teacher. I have taken several classes with her and always enjoyed it. Also afterwards, I received support with the practices. For me, Isha Hatha Yoga is the best I have experienced. The way how the classes are designed was a totally new experience for me. It's not changed in anyway but kept pure, how it was originally designed. It's a very powerful tool which changed my life in many ways.

I have known the studio already for more than 3 years. Attended the Hata Yoga programs: Bhuta shuddi, Angamardana, Surya Kriya, Yogasanas.
The scantity of the space is very well maintained. Personal attention to every participant, the way and commitment of making sure everyone gets it right and imbibes it completely is very inspiring and heart warming. The commitnent, patience, calmness and effectiveness in delivery of the class of the teacher Shivangi is only getting better, stronger and pleasent over time. It is very inspiring to see such a dedicated and committed person who changed her lifestyle to be on the path and helping, guiding others and fully supporting the practices also after the class.
A very good support system via whattsapp, refresher course, correction sessions and sadhana days are arranged to review and correct the practices from time to time.
The studio is very spacious, well organized, clean and in a quite environment and is ideal for the class and practices.

A good en very professional Yoga studio. The teachings are cristal clear. The teacher teaches with a lot of patience and relaxation. The ambience is good, peaceful and with good vibrations. If I want to have more Yoga teaching, then again i will learn it here. Even if I have to drive a couple of kilometers.

I did several programs at Ascendance - yoga for joy, and the programs were conducted with utmost reverence and quality. The space is suitable and energetic for yoga practices. Shivangi is a dedicated teacher. She provides the program in the best quality possible and makes sure that you correctly do the practices. There’s even support after you finish the program if you have any questions.

A beatifull studio and a responsable teacher with a great ambiance to be present and the energy really helped me to be focused and get the most of the teachings.
The teachings are given with absolute care and precision and clear instructions. It is almost like Shivangi is still there watching over me giving small corrections while im practicing at home.

I learned Angamardana. This is my first experience with a physical form of Yoga.
Even while my body feld absolutly destroyed after 4 sessions in two days I never feldt so good/engergetic at the same time.
After a week of practicing on my own I still feel the good/energetic part without the feeling of destruction.

If you want take care of yourself in ways you could never imagine this is the place to go.
I have a strong feeling that what ive learned here will stay with me for the rest of my life.

When im ready to speed up my practice or have a desire to learn another form of Hata Yoga the Isha Yoga teachers are definitly the place to go.

Shivangi is fantastic teacher who transmitted the authentic teaching of Angamardana with dedication and precision. No mistakes escape her eyes and she had patiently corrected us. The yoga studio is simply Zen, filled with pure devotional energy. It connected us to pure spiritual energy as soon as we entered it. So calming. Looking forward to attend the next session with her.

Yoga here is thaught with immense care and passion, making sure you have all the tools necessary to continue the practice on your own. The studio is clean and has a minimalist interior, which enchances in my opinion the focus on the yoga practice. The location of the studio is situated amongst an industrial area, but when needed an organic shop is still nearby. The most important thing is the yoga that is been offered here, it is classical hatha yoga in it's purest form. So i'm very grateful for Shivangi for bringing these acient teachings back to the Netherlands🙏🏻

It is completely different from the other yoga / yoga studio experience I had before. The yoga I learned here is authentic, systematic, which can be practiced independently afterwards. Shivangi is a very dedicated and responsible teacher. The course is well prepared and paced. Give yourself in for a few days here, and you will benefit from it for the rest of your life.

I find it difficult to confine to words how I experience being in this place and having the opportunity to follow these programs that Shivangi offers..

The space in itself is very conducive for yoga, both the location as well as the studio; it’s like finding an oasis that can quench your thirst in the middle of the desert 😉

The programs are intensive and upfront it’s easy to think of excuses to not dedicate this time for “a yoga program”.. but it’s not just that, it’s an investment on planting a seed that can bare some very delicious fruits 🤗 and the best is that it doesn’t take much waiting to experience how powerful this can be! For me, at the end of the day I may feel a bit tired but at the same time I feel both relaxed and energized in ways I have not experienced during other activities..

I am super grateful to Shivangi for making this possible 🙏 it’s quite special to have such a place here in the Netherlands and not having to go to India or somewhere far!

Very seldom in my life have I come across of teachings of such a high quality like what I found at Ascendance. The teacher Shivangi was fully dedicated, kind and sharp. The practices that she taught me made instant impact in my quality of life, making me feel 20 years younger in just two days. A beautiful studio at a wonderful natural area. I am sure this studio and this teacher will become a reference point in The Netherlands for anyone that is truly interested in her/his own well being, physical and mental health or spiritual growth.

The yoga course I took here was simply amazing: professional and a wonderful experience. I'm so very greatful I got to learn surya kriya from Shivangi, and after practicing at home for a while I've seen some mind-blowing results in my mental and phisical health.
