Best croissant I’ve ever had in my life. Great service and atmosphere as well! There may be long lines sometimes but it moves through quickly. Just one call-out though - the hot chocolate is on the darker/richer side so it may not be as suitable for milk chocolate lovers or children

Delicious, high quality, and fun selection! Friendly service and everything made professionally and with love. Coffee is also terrific! Very highly recommended, and certainly worth a visit… (and a second one, and a third…)

Such an amazing spot! I got a fresh homemade chai tea latte to go and was super impressed.😍😍😍😍 The ambience is adorable. So many fresh breads, open seating and really cute tables and chairs. They even have a mini table for kids to sit in! Very amazing vibe. Also it is right next to a tram stop which makes it super convenient! The staff were also really sweet :-) thank you so much. Made my day!

The photo line speaks for itself! Favorite place in the area! Great coffee and fresh pastries! The establishment is filled with the atmosphere of a quick and very homemade breakfast. Bread is baked with sourdough, and gluten-free options are available.

Great neighborhood bakery. Yes the line goes out the door. But walk past the line n go to the back n order a sandwich plus your baked goodies. The applebeignet, the appletart was wonderful. The apricot dessert was inhaled in a few bites lol. Your sourdough bread is so homey good. I just ate it with butter. Your server was super nice n friendly. I wish we have bakeries like this back home.

LOVED this place. Has two entrances, one for the bakery and one with a coffee counter. They join together so you can order both and sit and enjoy them together. Interesting large space with the open working bakery at the back.

This is my wife's favourite bakery. It's a very comfy atmosphere and serves good coffee with a large range of baked goods including croissants, pain au chocolat, etc. The broccoli salad is also a firm favourite. Expect queues at the weekend.

Came here for a late breakfast I think we missed it. It was around 10am. There are two entrances. One is for the bakery where you can get all the lovely bakery stuff. The other is for the coffee and you can also get the bakery stuff from there like croissants. The service is lovely, the bakery products are beautiful. And the coffee is excellent 👍.

Great place to stop in for a sandwich, pastry or even a personal pizza. Pizzas warmed up really nicely and I love they added rocket and fresh Parmesan on top.

This was next to our CitizenM hotel. They offer every croissant options you can dream of. They do their own bread, pastries, sandwiches, baguette. It's very popular. From the time they open there is always 5 to 10 people in line. But it goes fast and it's worth it.. They have many people on staff so the line moves quickly and efficiently. The coffee makers guys and girls do great Lattes. Cash is not welcome so have your appel pay and if you're from the sates credit card handy. As busy as they are they have many tables and we never had to wait to find a spot. take note they close at 5pm and if you get there at 4:30pm they are in closing mode. So better to buy to go at that time.

Lovely bakery with tasty pastries that are incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. My top two desserts were the brownie cheesecake and the almond croissant. If you’re still contemplating whether you should try it out, just go for it.

This is easily the best bakery in Amsterdam. Everything is delicious, incredibly reasonably priced, and has a wonderful environment to top it off. If you are visiting Amsterdam this is a must visit! You will not regret it. I have to be honest that I am shocked that it doesn't have completely 5 ⭐ reviews because there are lots of other worse bakeries with better ones, so I have to say personally, I feel this is inaccurate. Bakhuys is the best you can get in Amsterdam by far!!! 😍

Remains a one of a kind. The assortment is huge, the quality is really good, staff attending and the setup of the coffee bar together with bakery is superb. Doesn't see that anywhere.

The combination of small bite to eat, fresh top bakery and coffee place. Next to the ovens you can sit. Take away, possible a seat outside. Gemm for Amsterdam. Always busy. Love their bread ....

Great food, a bit pricey but I haven't been disappointed much. The sourdough bread I got wasn't amazing but that's not typical for them.

I started this day of my trip with this insanely yummy breakfast!
This place had the best breakfast pizza, almond croissant, cake (for which I have forgotten the name) and some biscuits that we bought! - Oh God!!🤤
My mom praised this bakery after almost every bite of pizza and cake she ate😂.
Totally recommended!!!!!👍
