A great place to be with a great view and designed with attention to detail. Seinpoststelling is really special and you shouldn't miss it...

We were there by bike and you are at the beach and nice beach bars in a few minutes. On the other hand there are nice fish restaurants in the industrial area!

In the morning we got a breakfast basket that left nothing to be desired and the contact with Melissa and Bob is very nice and personal.

Everything went perfectly... Thank you Melisa and Bob

We had a lovely weekend at Seinpostelling, in mid-October 2019, despite very wet weather. The photos on their website truly represent what a charming place this is, with all the modern conveniences. It was so relaxing to lie in the hammock and watch the big ships come and go. And in the mornings to enjoy a delicious, fresh breakfast (from groceries provided by owner). We hope to return, especially in warmer weather!

Een heerlijke plek om te relaxen. Prachtig uitzicht. Gezellige inrichting. En het ontbijt is echt prima.
Kortom, voor herhaling vatbaar.

Een leuke ervaring wel jammer dat het mistig was op de dag van aankomst maar daarom was de verrassing de volgende morgen des te groter.👏👀
Wel ben ik het eens met een vorige revieuw dat het fijn zou zijn als de ramen ( ik weet, het zijn niet de makkelijkste)wat bijgehouden worden zodat je daardoor nog meer kan genieten van het uitzicht!!!

About IJmuiden
City in the Netherlands

IJmuiden is a port city in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is the main town in the municipality of Velsen which lies mainly to the south-east. Including its large sea locks, it straddles the mouth of the North Sea Canal to Amsterdam. To the south it abuts a large reserve of plant-covered dunes, the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park. The city is on the south bank; the north bank is otherwise a steel plant and Velsen-Noord. It is 10 kilometres north northwest of Haarlem which is 18 kilometres due west of Amsterdam. The port is a deepwater port suited to fully laden Panamax ships, and fourth port of the Netherlands. source
