Great hotel. Super clean rooms. Good atmosphere.
There is a room with 2 beds with big front windows to the street that is just one set of stairs up! Highly recommend.
Decent and reliable breakfast. Nice staff. Excellent location.

Very cosy place, perfectly located to the city center of Leeuwarden. Very decent rooms, friendly staff, nice bar. We have been here before, and will come back again. So certainly recommended

Good quality stay for an amazing price. Direct in the old town of Leeuwarden. Typical Dutch house . Clean, also with towels, staffs speaks also German. Nice to have: a typical Dutch bar, with Amstel on tap and bottled Belgian beer and, not to forget, small things to eat like the typical Frisean mustard soup...Great value for money!

Stayed in a dorm with many beds. Good facilities and a lovely owner. Breakfast is ok and plentiful. UNBEATABLE PRICE!!!

Amazing hotel. We watched an episode of Walker Texas Ranger where they dyed his beard and hair so that he could disguise himself as a Mexican immigrant. The plot was completely incoherent and seeing it dubbed in German just added to the absurdity. It was a near religious moment. Nice warm shower and the dude made us righteous scrambled eggs for breakfast also!

Our reservation got cancelled by no fault of our own or the hotel, which we heard while we arrived. They called for over an hour to find us a place to stay, which they eventually found and even payed for some of the costs which we made due to the inconveniences

Gemengde slaapzaal is goed verzorgd en van alle gemakken
o.a. meerdere stopcontacten
en een TV. EN een afgesloten
schuur waar de fiets gestald
kan worden.
Ontbijt is ruim voldoende en goed georganiseerd.
Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ga er zeker weer
heen als ik in Leeuwarden ben.

Mijn ervaring is heel positief en ik ben best kritisch!. Prachtig gelegen in de stad. Alles heel netjes en schoon en een heel begripvolle eigenaar ik geslapen als roos. Top, en niet duur voor zoon prachtige locatie!.

Hôtel propre, très bien placé, dans le centre, à 1.2 km de l'université. Les chambres sont très petites, mais vu le prix, ça va. C'est juste pour dormir. Petit déjeuner très convenable, il faudrait cependant un grille pain. Attention, l'escalier est raide, déconseillé aux cardiaques. Pas d'ascenseur.

Toen ik een keer de laatste trein had gemist had ik een kamer geboekt bij Hotel Café Het Anker. Ik werd hartelijk ontvangen en werd er meegelopen naar de kamer die ik had geboekt. Ik vond de prijs en kwaliteit verhouding dikke prima. Het is in de binnenstad van Leeuwarden.

Voor een 2 sterren hotel Top!! Wij hadden een hele grote 3 pers gerenoveerde kamer. Mooie ruime badkamer. Heel vriendelijk personeel, ontvangen in een bruin café met Perzische kleedjes op de tafel wat weer perfect bij het oude pand past. S avonds gezellig een drankje aan de bar gedaan. Wel wat gehorig, maar dat heb je in een oud pand. Ontbijt prima. Kortom fijn verblijf gehad

Das Hotel Anker ist ein kleines, altes Hotel in bester Lage.
Wir waren mit der Freundlichkeit, dem Empfang und der Parkplatzsituation sehr zufrieden.
Das Zimmer war schön groß und sauber, mit Ausnahme des nicht geleerten Mülleimers.

Zum Frühstück, wer für den geringen Preis ein Nobelfrühstück erwartet ist etwas realitätsfremd.
Es ist ein sehr einfaches Frühstück zu einem sehr einfachen Preis. Passt also.

Wir würden hier wieder übernachten.
