Oranje Hotel Leeuwarden

Have stayed here a couple of times with work. Great spot to stay, directly opposite the train station. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice, such as cooked, breads, hams, cereals and fruit. This hotel is located so close to the main shopping areas so great central location. Highly recommend.

We chose this hotel primarily because of its proximity to the train station. It is a very short walk from the train station and is easily located near many restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly especially when our trip out of Leeuwarden was delayed by several hours.

Nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Town Center is easily reachable by foot in about ten minutes.

The Oranje Hotel was the perfect stay for us on our visit to Frisia. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and not far from the main street of Leeuwarden. The hotel has a classic European feel to it and the rooms were nice. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was large and had a wide variety, which we appreciated. As Americans traveling through this region for the first time, we felt felt “t’huis”. Highly recommend!

Nice, not to big, hotel, right in the centre of Leeuwarden. Perfect location to reach by train, or long distance bus. Also direct bus to AquaZoo directly opposite.

Rooms are pretty good, including a private small balcony.

Breakfast is very good, should definitely not miss it.

Parking at the hotel is often full, but is solved with a nearby public parking.

Lovely Hotel. Staff is very friendly, the Rooms are clean and look the same as on their website. The breakfast buffet is rich and has a lot to choose from. Croissants, loaf rolls, bread, cheese, sausages, pancakes etc.

We will definitely come back one day!

The holidays have just ended: 21 days to discover the Netherlands by train.
We spent 3 nights in Leeuwarden. We loved the city, and the Oranje Hotel is definitely part of this good experience: quiet and comfortable room and hotel, hearty and excellent breakfast, attentive and friendly staff, ideally placed in front of the station. The best hotel of our tour.

I have to say I would return just because of how nice the staff are, like for example we arrived, parked the car and after driving for 3 hours we both needed the toilet, and a lady that works there, maybe as housekeeping she offered to hold our baby for 2 min until we both finished, the receptionist so nice as well, the rooms, nice and clean,we had a nice bath, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you

I really enjoyed my two night stay here. The rooms were lovely with very comfortable beds. We had a tub and shower and the tub was very deep which was nice, but the shower tended to spray water all over the bathroom. Other than that I have no complaints and would highly recommend the hotel.

We went to Hampshire hotel for our anniversary,
The staff is very friendly and professional, which makes you feel very welcome.

The styling of the rooms is very tastefully done. On the bed side there is a long wooden panel which seamlessly connects the bed to the minibar and desk. The bed is super comfy with a matress that would be described as soft. It gives good support though. If you close the curtains the room will be truly dark, which is a plus in my book. The bathroom includes a bath and a shower with a nice, decent jet of water.

The hotel is situated right across from the central station and very close to the city centre.
The rooms are very nice and the breakfast offers a wide variety of food.

Stayed here many times. Staff always cheerful and helpful. Rooms good, nice to have a mini-bar. Self-service breakfast good, though coffee is bit inferior. Quiet. Restaurant nice but not spectacular.

This is a great hotel with lovelly staff. His position is optimal if you travel by pubblic transportations. It s situated directly in front of the main train station and a minute walk from the city center. The rooms are cosy and equiped with everything you need. There is also a good Nespresso coffee machine and tee. The breakfast is aboundant made, with particular care, with fresh local products. I have stayed for one week and for shure I will come back again. I highly recommend it.
