Top-notch brilliant hotel in Leeuwarden! The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are excellent - clean and large. The hotel is well located, within walking distance of the main sights of the city as well as Leeuwarden train station. The staff is really courteous and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel if staying in Leeuwarden!

A great hotel in the center of Leeuwarden. A stunning hotel and the room as amazing! The service at the reception was good as well. They helped us where we could park the car (5min walk from the hotel). We can recommend this hotel!

Such a nice and lovely Spot in Leeuwarden. The breakfast is amazing, the rooms are very clean. It's in a historical old post office and the combine of the older building with the New one is really excellent

It's very spacious for wheelchairs and hoisting, the legs for perfectly under the bed too. The bathroom is huge and the sink is lowered with all in room accessibility- it also has a really great feature that I've never seen before- the red emergency pull cord is attached all around the wall about a foot up from the floor, so if anyone falls they can reach it from all areas! What an amazing idea! The bedroom is also on the ground floor which is the first hotel that's done this. I LOVE HOLLAND.

Amazing service, above and beyond! And what a delicious 'borrel' platter we had to hold us over before dinner.

Top days, due to the rain and cold, we voluntarily decided to stay indoors in our massive suite with all luxuries and comforts we could wish for. The fireplace was a real treat. Love this hotel and for sure will be back. Oh, and the brasserie/restaurant is excellent with surprising items on the menu. This place deserves 6 stars rather than 5.

Extremely polite and helpful staff. Asked for a favor for an anniversary and they were quickly able to help with a personal touch and even got upgraded to the suite! Great room and also great food at the cafe ! Breakfast was also delicious!

The restaurant , the bar are in a grandiose
status , the rooms are pretty clean and are
in an up to date comfort .

Beautiful Rooms, classical atmosphere with modern luxury. Well trained staff and excellent service. Located in the city center. Restaurant is exceptional, also very nicely styled. Prices are what you would expect for this level of hotel. Two minor minuses, first is that parking at the hotel is only possible at an extra charge. And (my room) had no minibar/fridge. There are amenities such as snacks, coffee, tea and alcoholic beverages available in the room, but not cooled. However, I very much enjoyed my stay. All in all a great experience, definitely worth a visit.

Must stay hotel if you get the chance.

This hotel is located inside an old post office, decor of the bar/restaurant is amazing and they even burn their own coffew beans here! Rooms overall were clean, showers were great and the beds comfy. The only thing we sort of missed was a window that you can open.

Staff was nice and friendly and really seemed to know a lot about the city and the hotel!

I will definitly stay here again if i get the chance

Although the location is slightly outside of the city center it is still close enough to reach everything quickly.

The staff is professional and helps whenever possible.

Rooms are decent as you would expect, clean and nice comfortable beds.

Toilet and shower are also nice to use as it has a normal and a rain shower head. I spent about one night a week here and it is always clean.

In the cafe you can notice there is some staff with less experience. Usually this is compensated by the staff with more experience.

This place and its staff make an exceptional effort to make you feel welcome. Great food, delicious but not heavy at all. Quite some steps up and down with luggage to get to the rooms and back, but the interior is beautiful, history well preserved.

Wonderful restaurant! It was the first time we got an idea of dutch cuisine. The aesthetics of the building is also unique.

Location is excellent, building very impressive - and especially they way they managed to adopt it as a hotel. Rooms spacious, well equipped, very quiet - in fact, whole hotel is very quiet and cosy. Morning staff very cheerful, nice, happy to help. Breakfast very good, everything you might want. Maybe internet connectivity could be improved a bit, but otherwise I couldn't find anything wrong.

A great hotel, with lots of historical features. The building itself used to be a postoffice. They kept a lot of items from this period in the building and displayed it all over the place. The receptioniste was very friendly and the room was exceptionally big and well designed. We had the suite on the first floor on the corner. So we could watch over the long street infront of the hotel.
Because of Corona, you had to get your own drinks and food. But as everything was well organised, we didn't mind.
The food is excellent and the kitchen staff very polite.
We also used the spa, which was very nice. And also because corona, we had the whole spa for ourselves!
Would we tell our friends about this hotel? Most defenitely!!

Great food. We were with three and all had mussels. Great atmosphere and ambiance. Fantastic building. Friendly personnel. Bit noisy but nothing really annoying. Reservations advisable.

Very nice hotel, upscale, with espresso makers in the rooms. I can't speak to the restaurant, as I haven't eaten there. Its one disadvantage is that it's not near any bus lines. They are happy to call you a taxi, however.
