amasing alternative Music Festival with nice, friendly people and good lineup

The place is full of history preserved in those century old remains.

Very nice Park, historic and a calm place to spend some time there.
The area next to it is active with michelen star restaurant near by and food market on the square

Lovely Park with a beautiful view!

Very nice museum, for kids they have a "roman lab" where you can get a brief feel how archeologist really work, matching pottery shards and shifting through debriss looking for tiny clues (iron hobnails) and you can see how Romans worked lifting heavy objects with pulleys and how to measure angels. Amazing collection as well and currently a steam/diesel punk modern art display which is nice aside.

Couldn’t ask for more for a small park if you just want to take a walk. Rich in interesting historical building, beautiful flowers and riverside views. It will be nice to grab a food from Saturday market and enjoy it inside the park.

Nice park close to the market and the Nijmegen „beach“ and nature reserve

When we were at the park it was really crowded due to a nice event where the showed the kind of proffessions that were carried out in the middle ages! It was super interesting and cool to see. Everyone was dressed like in these historical times as well.

A very lovely park with fantastic (slightly obscured by trees) views over the Waal. Picnics in the sun and a nice bit of green where it's needed the most!

Beautiful park with parts of the old city wall, a medieval chapel and an amazing view over the river Waal. A great place to have an evening walk or picknick.

Lots of historical buildings. Hidden place in city center where sports and chilling can be done. Perfect place to take a loved one to enjoy the view to Arnhem, Overbetuwe and the Waalbrug.

Fun park to be at, has a cafe on it. On some Saturdays there is a market where you can buy delicious foods and other fun stuff.

Really lovely park, lots of history, a chapel which you can visit, and a fantastic scenic view over the Waalbrug as well Ooijpolder.

Beautiful park along the river to walk, sit, and enjoy. Very historic area for military history as well.
