It was nice to spend few hours here to enjoy garden, birds collection and sand sculptures. There is a cafe just outside that looks quite busy in weekend.

Beautiful garden with sandsculptures

Beautiful example of 19th/20th century park-gardening. Well maintained and made interesting for all ages with sand sculptures (only during the summer season and every a different theme). The castle itself is not as such open to the general public but the park (also accessible by a walkway from the picturesque centre of the village of Diepenheim) is most certainly worth a visit.

Prachtige kasteeltuin met schitterende zandsculpturen die te zien zijn van 1 mei tot 1 oktober.
Ook voor mindervaliden is het redelijk goed begaanbaar. Let wel op wanneer je rolstoelgebruiker bent, hier en daar liggen de wortels van de bomen nogal hoog op het pad

Wat prachtig om er rond te wandelen . Helemaal met die mooie zandsculpturen. Knap gemaakt. Dit alles zeker de moeite waard. . Ook de prachtige bomen en fazanten die er te zien zijn. Mooi hoor....

Heel leuk uitje. Het kasteel kan je niet bezoeken maar de tuin met zandsculpturen is heel mooi. De beelden zijn mooi weergegeven met leuke details. Tip. Doe de speurtocht ook als je geen kinderen hebt. Je kijkt op op een heel andere manier naar de beelden. En vergeet niet om ook aan de achterzijde van de beelden te kijken :-)

Mooi kasteel van buiten, binnen kun je niet bezichtigen. Zandsculpturen bekeken, erg mooi. Afgesloten met heerlijke koffie met appelgebak. Eerlijke prijzen

Mooie omgeving om rond te lopen.
Terras was ook goed.

Tijdens fietstocht hier aan gegaan voor een kopje thee, Er was een zandsculpturen route door de kasteeltuin en een kleine route langs dieren in kooien.

Mooi kasteeltje met bijgebouwen, prachtige wandeltuin en veel kunstige zandsculpturen.

Zeker de moeite waard. Goed en net verzorgd park. Entree en restaurant betaalbaar en goede kwaliteit. Vriendelijk personeel. Van onze kant 10 met een griffel

Prachtig mooi park. Zeer de moeite waard.Met mooie zandsculpturen. En veel mooie bankjes om even te gaan zitten. En te genieten van de mooie omgeving.En als afsluiting een heerlijk kopje koffie. We komen er zeker weer terug !
