Beautiful area to see some of the oldest working Windmills in the Netherlands, very impressive and beautiful landscape I’m very happy I took the time to visit this place!

Cycling around was fun, and the bike hire was fairly priced. The windmills are beautiful and the route is fairly easy to follow. You don’t need tickets to go round, but you do to go in the museums and some of the windmills. Don’t worry if you don’t have them, you can go round the area for free

No easy way to get to there if you don't have a car, but man... Really nice place every step worth it...

Prachtige plek om te bezoeken en molens te aanschouwen. Molens gebouwd tussen 1738 en 1740. Neem een ticket en laat je rondvaren over de vaart en bezoek de molens. Een geweldige middag.

About Kinderdijk
Village in the Netherlands

Kinderdijk is a village in the municipality of Molenlanden, in the province of South Holland, Netherlands. It is located about 15 km east of Rotterdam. Kinderdijk is situated in the Alblasserwaard polder at the confluence of the Lek and Noord rivers. To drain the polder, a system of 19 windmills was built around 1740. This group of mills is the largest concentration of old windmills in the Netherlands. The windmills of Kinderdijk are one of the best-known Dutch tourist sites. They have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. source
