Der Leuchtturm ist zwar nicht öffentlich zugänglich, gibt aber gerade bei Sonnenuntergang einen wunderschönen Fotospot her. Auch das umliegende Gewerbegebiet hat mit seiner industriellen, rostigen und teils historischen Optik durchaus seinen Charme.

Samen met zijn kleine broer zorgt hij er voor dat de schepen veilig binnenkomen. Fraaie toren die de tand des tijds heeft doorstaan!

Prachtig, de hoge vuurtoren van IJmuiden! Hij is niet vrij toegankelijk, maar des al niet te min een mooi gezicht en historie van IJmuiden.

Schöner Leuchtturm leider abgeschirmt kein öffentlicher Zugang. Auch als Fotomotiv geeignet.

Ein Ort den man sich auf jeden Fall anschauen sollte wenn man in dessen Nähe ist. Der Hafen und das Gelände drumherum ist gigantisch und gibt einem den Einblick in das tägliche Leben der Arbeiter/in vor Ort

About IJmuiden
City in the Netherlands

IJmuiden is a port city in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is the main town in the municipality of Velsen which lies mainly to the south-east. Including its large sea locks, it straddles the mouth of the North Sea Canal to Amsterdam. To the south it abuts a large reserve of plant-covered dunes, the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park. The city is on the south bank; the north bank is otherwise a steel plant and Velsen-Noord. It is 10 kilometres north northwest of Haarlem which is 18 kilometres due west of Amsterdam. The port is a deepwater port suited to fully laden Panamax ships, and fourth port of the Netherlands. source
