looks good, smells amazing & tastes even better! I went twice in the space of 2 days and I couldn’t get enough. If you get the ones made fresh, while it’s still warm, it tastes even better. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for stroopwafels

Wow! This place is so so good. It is located just few steps off the famous canal right opposite to hotel Die Port Van Cleve. These were the first stroopwafels i ever had and i just loved it. Wafels were baked to perfection crispy but not hard and filling was delicious. Melly's stroopwafels are equally famous among locals and visitors so long queues are normal on any day.

Second visit in 2 days! Great little shop with different sizes and combinations of stroopwafels. Also some nice tins, which would be great gifts or souvenirs. Friendly staff also! 🧇

Nice lovely tasty waffles.We got two for 12 euros. One was with Oreo’s and one with hazelnut. Inside of this thin waffle was caramel and it blended very well. It’s a must to try when you come to Amsterdam.

When you enter the place, you smell the fresh pastries and cakes as they are made in-house. The vibe is warm and welcoming, the coffee is delicious and the staff is very friendly. The carrot cake was amazing!

A very nice place for an authentic stroopwafel! Before reaching at the entrance the whole street was already smelling wonderful! The staff was very polite and well-organised so we didn't have to wait much! The wafel was delicious and for a big size the price was only 5,5 euros. Highly recommended!

No line when we arrived except one person in front of us. Delicious stroopwafels in the city, quite a few topping options. They offer the large size and also smaller/mini sizes with the same toppings. We loved these and really glad we didn’t choose the other “more famous” places in the city to wait in long lines.

Visited this place for fresh stroopwaffles. Did not disappoint me. Staff was friendly and I got my fresh, classic, stroopwaffle. One can take it next door to the coffee shop and eat it there, while enjoying a good view.

Found my new favourite food souvenir store in Amsterdam!

I must have cycle by this place a million times but did not ever see it. But it is smack in the middle of the city Center right next to Dam. I’m sure it would get crowded but when I was there it was not too busy. Great location and close enough to the station that I could pick one up on my way to a trip.

It is a tiny store, but hey, all you want is to pick up and roam the city street with a tasty stroopwafel or to pack as a gift. So the store size doesn’t matter too much. Enough for about 5 people to stand inside.

The stroopwafels come in some beautiful tins. They had 3 types of tins and all of them were super gorgeous to gift. They also had the normal version of the stroopwafel to put inside and the funky ones with a ton of toppings. I loved that they had this option for the tins as well. Time to surprise your friends and family!!

Their waffle with full of cinnamon aroma is so light and not too sweet. Love it.

It's a very small place, next to a busy street and a church. Only 4-5 customers can fit inside, but this is not a problem as once you order you are on your way probably to the Dam Square where a lot of fun things are happening. Inside the shop, there is one table with two chairs. The staff is super nice, and they make fresh waffles for each customer. You can choose from a lot of toppings, like hazelnuts, marshmallows, fudge, etc. plus white chocolate, dark chocolate, caramel, etc. You should definitely go there and try it.

Really good quality stroopwafels. I tried the classic one for now but will come back for sure. It wasn’t too sweet which I really liked. They’re on a pricey side - around €5, but I’d say it’s worth it.

A nice, little store in the center of Amsterdam with great, freshly made Stroopwaffles. The price for the classic big Stroopwaffle, which was the one I tried, was reasonable too.

We got the original, Oreo, and biscoff. They were beyond amazing. We also got a berry streusel cake from the cookie shop. Everything was so fresh and homemade. It met our expectations and then some.

I was really happy about buying our Stoop Wafel there. The different toppings looked so delicious and it was hard to decide. I asked for a recommendation and at the end we took the cookie crunch and Oreo. The service was very good and the food so tasty.

So underrated!! It’s lovely, delicious and definitely cheaper than the other stores. No waiting, nice and quick Service. Perfect gift for yourself and your family!

Simply amazing stroopwafels!
They are delicious, big, there is a lot of variety for the toppings (cookies, smarties, biscuits and many others), I took the salted caramel one and it was very good!
Prices are quite high (5€) but for sure lower than other tourist trap places.
