Great cozy bookstore, with great service and large selection of books, board games and coffee (and cheesecake). Dutch and English books. Graphic novels. Hardcovers, you name it. Great suggestions by friendly staff. Hands down my favorite local bookstore.

Favorite bookstore in Breda, and probably even my favorite bookstore just in general. It's a small cozy store at the edge of the city center, which makes it very easy to get to on foot while also being away from the hustle & bustle just one street over. Their taste and range in books is great - do you ever read about a book online and think to yourself that you'd want to read it, but then no bookstores nearby carry it and you have to get it shipped from overseas? On more occasions than I kept track of they had *that book*. It's become something of a running joke with friends (who similarly love Latte's & Literature) that I always swear I won't buy anything *this time*, but then I do, anyway. And then there's everything else! The board games, the D&D dice sets, they sell teas and offer cheesecake and coffee and milkshakes. If you're someone who's dreamed of running your own cozy little bookstore, this is the store you're envisioning.

Great place to find english books! I had coffee and very tasty banana bread. I recommend this place for the book lovers and friends!

Cute little store that serves very tasty cakes and smoothie, additional to coffee and latte. Can recommend it to any book- or boardgame fan alike, but even just for a quick coffee.

Always great. With the perfect vibe and amazing service, I always find myself coming back time and time again. If they don't have the book or board game you are looking for, you are able to order it through them.

Just stepping into this cozy shop is always a nice thing to do, as you are welcomed by the wonderful smell of books, games, cake and coffee. And, of course, very friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of books, lots and lots of games... definitely worth a visit. Beware that you might walk away with a lot more than you had in mind though ;-)

Cheesecake to die for and delicious ice coffee. Once you start you can not stop drinking. Watch out for the brain freeze.

Not just the only English bookstore in Breda, its a very good English bookstore. Friendly staff, great selection of books and a nice place for a coffee. Last few years L&L have branched out successfully into boardgames of all sorts. The kind of local place you want to support.

Best place to get books, playing cards or whatever your nerdy head wants

We were looking for board game in Breda. We were recommended to go to Latte's and Literature. The staff really took time to advise us and she was very friendly. Great shop with English books and board games and records

Great place for books, boardgames, and beverages.
L&L became my go to bookshop over the past years, especially due to their specific selection of books. The staff is always friendly, and able to point you to a new interesting book, or give information on a book of interest.
They do not offer the wide selection available in large bookstores, but their focus and knowledge make up for that ten times over.

Probably my favourite place in all of Breda! I love the ambiance. It's a great place for English books and boardgames!. They cover (i think) all the genres. From poetry to young adult and from crime to roleplaying books. The owner(/s) is (are) very nice! And always willing to help you and answer any question. It's also a great spot to get a drink and a little sweet, in a more quiet part in the city center.

This place is great! I have been going to Latte's and Literature for some years now and it continues to be a place that as soon as you walk through the door, you just relax and smile. Never disappointed in a book recommendation, always enjoy the home made cakes and sometimes spend way too long pondering over the next board game to buy. A place to meet friends and drink coffee. If I didn't have a home I would live here. Owner is a bit snobby about giving me his home made ice tea recipe though. Pretty sure it contains honey. And Tea.

Nice cosy bookstore, with a great collection of books and board games. They did not have a book that I wanted in store, but it was quickly ordered and I had it within 48 hours. Great service!

Love this store. There's not many English book stores around, especially like this. They can even order the books you want for you. Would be in here every day if I lived closer.
