I stayed at Karma lodge 3 wonderful days. Even tho I was the only one staying the family kept the restaurant warm with the wood stove in the evenings. The couple who run is are very friendly and helpful.
The room was quiet, warm from the sun in the daytime , bed comfortable and clean and the gas shower hot! So welcome in March.
If one wants more peace and nature stay here rather than Braka or Manang. I loved being in such a beautiful place.
Food was excellent, the Tibetan bread very tasty.

Excellent little hotel that has got all the basics right. Piping hot shower and western toilet inside the room. Very friendly staff. Heating in the dining room. Much more cozy than Many hotels. The path to the icelake starts HERE, not in Manang.

Genuinely, they waited up to midnight to serve us. The room is okay, the food is okay and the service is great.

Good food, rooms where you can't here your neighbor and helpful family. Ideal base for Ice Lake.
