A place where you can get good rest. Clean room and toilet. With some stylish hand writing reminders on some walls. Friendly owner and staff.

Nice and cozy lodge. Quality (and quantity) of food is best on the gokyo route.

Clean room and tasty fried rice. Community bathrooms were clean. No tap water but maybe that's normal for the area with the weather.

Decent tea house. Loved the ginger lemon tea here. We stayed here for one night on our way to Gokyo and received good hospitality.

We stayed over night on the way to Machermo. Nice small dinning room with the heating in the centre. Good atmosphere and food prepared by Mrs Pemba Sherpa. Very expensive charging, shower outside.

この地域としてはごく普通のレベルの山小屋だと思います。たまたまかもしれませんが部屋が寒く、翌朝起きたらトイレの水が凍結していました。

Beware scam. Charged 3000 for a room and shower. places around here were only 500

We stayed one night - the rooms were below average for the area with no running tap water (neither hot or cold) available outside of the shared toilets. Our bed sheets were dirty and dusty. Worst of all, we purchased one roll of toilet paper and after a huge two weeks of trekking I accidentally paid in USD, instead of rupee - two minutes after I realised the error I returned to the lady (who was the owner of the lodge) and she refused to return my USD. We understand things may be difficult post covid however we did not appreciate the dishonesty and there are better lodges in the area - unfortunately the good lodges were booked out.

The bed sheets are dirty with broken glasses, I told the host about it, she first say it’s normal situation, then she said it’s because my porter put my bag on the bed, which is ridiculous because I saw it with my eyes, my porter leave my luggage outside the corridor.
My floor doesn’t even has a basin for washing hand or brushing my teeth. Beside the rooms are under average, there are no table for us to put anything.
