A trip to Hotel Everest View, the world’s highest hotel was an unforgettable experience. We took a helicopter from Kathmandu (via Lukla) and had breakfast here. The view of the Himalayas from the outdoor dining area was spectacularly breathtaking! They offer a breakfast set and the pancakes are really good - fluffy and crispy. It was crowded when we arrived and the few staff managed rather well considering the hotel had been without electricity for 7 days.

An incredible hotel in an incredible place. The location is everything for this hotel. You can helicopter in, enjoy a simple but functional breakfast, and then enjoy the backdrop of Mount Everest and Lhotse in the distance. As of Feb 2024, breakfast was $31, which is very pricey, but I guess you pay for the location.

The most exciting trip of a lifetime for us was the helicopter ride from Katmandu to Lukla to Hotel Everest .
At the hotel, there was more surprise, as we ordered delicious breakfast and enjoyed eating it while we had a front row seat to admire Mt Everest and the surrounding peaks. It was breathless and serene, while the Himalayas surrounding us seemingly looked down upon us.
We had a good 1hr 30 min time slot at the Hotel, and because we were so mersmerised by the environment, we did not want leave.
Weather permitting, I would say this is a must visit Hotel for everyone.

The Hotel Everest View, nestled within the Sagarmatha National Park a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A record-holder in the Guinness Book (2004) as the world's Highest Placed Hotel at 13,000ft, it offers breathtaking panoramic views. During our November trek to Everest Base Camp, the distant sight of Mount Everest was awe-inspiring. An unforgettable experience in the lap of the Himalayas!

We hiked up here for the views of Everest and we weren’t disappointed. Stopped for some lunch (vegetable soup) whilst enjoying the views. Definitely recommend visiting this place, purely for the scenery.

Stopped here while I was on a helicopter tour of Everest for some breakfast.

Excellent views from all sides, lovely place to spend time taking the serenity and tranqui.lity of the Himalayas overlooked by famous Everest and Lhotse, breakfast was very decent and adequate safety measures were in place for helicopters

The viewpoint was amazing. I did not stay there but we hike up from Namche Bazaar to see the view point before continuing our hike to Dole the next day.

An amazing place to take in the views whilst enjoying a beer at the highest bar in the world!

Breathtaking views all the way around! And if you're here, take a look at the new recycling centre just a few hundred meters down, it's really inspiring and they have a VR tour of Everest summit which is amazing!

Help and support the locals!

Was up there on the rest day at Namche. Quiet a climb but I can imagine once you see the view of the Everest from here. We were unlucky as the weather was not good that day for viewing. So we did what everyone would do - have a hot cup of tea and get back down. It's a 5-star hotel costing $800 per night - you can imagine what even the cup of tea would cost.

An amazing view and a really fancy place for being high up in the Himalayas. Is located 3880 meters above sea level. You can have a view of the Mount Everest in the distance. Is somewhat a surreal experience to be on a top watching a few of the highest mountains at the same time. The staff is like most nepaliese very friendly. It’s hard or maybe even impossible to have enough of this view.

If I could give this place 500 stars, I would. What an amazing place with amazing people!!! The food was beyond delicious. Sonya completely set up everything for our trip from pick up at the airport, guides for trekking and city sights along with a car and driver. Everything went great! There is no way we could’ve done this without her expertise.

Location and scenery was fantastic every which way you turned. An experience of a lifetime to stay there. We were choppered in and out. Service was fautless from every staff member.
Food wise, they were willing to cater to people who had dietary requirements.
Would highly recommend anyone wanting to stay there but make sure you book ahead as there are only 12 rooms
