Are you a nature lover??

If yes, then Namaste Jharana is one of the most visit natural waterfall situated in Dhankuta.

It was my first visit to a waterfall in my lifetime. Though the path to reach the waterfall is very steep we reached there by walking around 15-20 minutes by parking our vehicle in the bottom or near the restaurant of the entrance way.

My first visit to the waterfall experience was quite good. If you are planning to visit this waterfall then I suggest to visit as early as possible in the morning as there will not be many people and you can even shoot beautiful pictures and videos without any disturbance.

The only thing that I didn't like was people bathing in the water and throwing their clothes after they had bathed. This irresponsible behaviour made me anxious. People should learn to preserve nature as it is very important to us.

in conclusion I want to add that Namaste Jharana is a very good place to visit during summer as the temperature is hot and cold water swimming is very refreshing. But unfortunately I didn't have any spear cloth with me so I couldn't take a bath in such cold and fresh water.

20 minutes ride from Bhedetar going towards Dhankuta. Namaste jharna is complete package of refreshment. It does cost you a ticket to enter which is not much either. The gate to the falls is just visible from the highway so it is an easy access.

It was awesome place to hangout. We reached there by 15 minutes bike ride from vedetaar. You need to pay entrance fee for people and camera too. You can have a very good time. The rocks are slippery. So stay careful

Nice waterfall and well managed and secured. Just about 7km away from Bhedatar. Best place to be. Just to make you aware that there is only one hotel to stay. So, if you are thinking of staying there then you need to booked it in advance. Highly recommend place in Eastern Region of Nepal...

Namaste Falls is located in Bhedetar village development committee of Dhankuta district. It is popular among domestic tourists. The falls are about 80 meters high. [1]Domestic tourists from Jhapa, Dhankuta, Morang and Sunsari visit this falls in large. One can see a rainbow-like, seven-colour formation while standing close to the waterfall. It is in the shape of Namasthe. The falls are also frequently visited by researchers.

A wonderful place to visit in eastern nepal. It is between bhedetar and dhankuta. It is usually crowded in summer and the ticket is also cheap while i visited i.e. less than 50.

You can get to the waterfall after 10-15 mins hike. But the trails and steps are very well managed.

If you are planning to go into the waterfall then you should have waterproof or a bag to keep your belongings as it can get wet here and there aren't any lockers.

Edit 2021: Due to heavy rainfall and flooding the force of water is very high so you can't go under the waterfall

A lovely drive and a steep climb culminating at the foot of the waterfall. This place must be a view to behold right after snowmelt. A must visit for trekking/hiking newbies!
