Rented a VW Crossfox from Coronado Cars. Car was spotless and in perfect condition. Make sure to rent the Waze phone with your rental if you're not familiar with Panama. It's a must have! Josh was very straight forward and incredibly helpful. Price was exactly what was quoted on website and included insurance. I'm 100% happy with the rental and the service I received. If you're looking for a rental car, I would book with this company and not take any chances with other companies.

SO much easier than renting from big chains at PTY! The guy actually called me in the States to confirm and provided details related to pickup in Coronado. Joshua also set us up with transport to/from PTY. That transfer made the trip out and back extremely more relaxed. Owner even helped us get our in-country SIM card setup. We had the car for a week and dropped the keys with the airport transfer driver when we left Coronado after hours. No hassles, no extras, no worries! We will use again and again.

I have rented cars several times from Coronado Cars. Every time the experience has been trouble free. They always seem to be able to accommodate my requests for car type and pickup location when I call ahead. This most recent time I rented a car in Panama City for a week. The SUV was ready for me when I arrived and it took less than 5 minutes to fill out the forms and get the keys. Josh and his staff are real professionals. I highly recommend contacting Coronado Cars if you need a rental car in Panama.

Coronado Cars—is my Panama rental car company! I initially spoke to Josh who verified all our arrangements, offered options, and explained their pricing model and service in detail. We ended up picking up the car in Panama City and worked with Will Shaw- a terrific, positive, reactive and prompt guy. He further explained the things we might encounter and what to do if we did. We returned to car a month later and he was again right on time, met us at our hotel and it was just that easy. Very reasonable price- that included the 3rd party insurance, professional service, and the car was in excellent condition. I would highly recommend renting from Coronado Cars—whether in Coronado or Panama City. Thank you Josh and Will!

This was the most pleasant rental experience I have ever had. Josh met us at the airport where we signed the rental agreement and took possession of the car. The rate included the insurance which is necessary in Panama. The whole experience from beginning to end was seamless and very comfortable. We drove from Coronado to Panama City and also to Boquete as well as daily trips for food shopping and sightseeing. The rental return was just as easy as Josh met us at the airport and retook possession of the car. The service was fantastic and I would highly recommend this car rental service in the Coronado area.

Josh & Alex from Coronado Cars was absolutely a gem of a find for us as we began our permanent residency here in Panama! Easy peasy to set up the car rental via email prior to our leaving the states and prompt at picking us up from our hotel to drive us the our new community. Originally we planned on renting for 3 weeks but with all things Panama, more time was needed to arrange for purchasing our new vehicle. One simple conversation with Josh about extending our rental and it was arranged! No hassle. When the time came for us to pick up our new vehicle, another simple conversation with Josh and turning in the car was arranged at our location. Really recommend this company - communication with Josh was really efficient and friendly and Will picked us up at our hotel - drove us to Allbrook so we could avoid navigating the traffic, and picked up car at the hotel at the end of our stay. No waiting around, no trips to rental office, no lengthy admin and super friendly. All insurance included in price, so really could not have been simpler and speedier. Would recommend 100% and would only use this company when we return to Panama.

Great experience with this company. Have used others in Panama and definitely would recommend Coronado Cars over any of the big names. We were able to be confident that the car, price and requested additions (car seat) were exactly as expected. Didn’t use this option but appreciated that they had the data loaded smartphone available or panapass. Everything you could need! And the price was on point. Joshua answered emails promptly. Thanks for the wheels! Sorry for the muddy mats but had an agua cero right before loading up!

We have rented vehicles on numerous occasions and view Coronado Cars to be like our own "Enterprise" as the vehicles are always delivered to us clean, with gas, and a PanaPass. Then, when we have completed our rental period, they are always there to retrieve the vehicle at the appointed time.

The price is reasonable and we are very happy with our experience with Coronado Cars. If there is a problem with the vehicle, they are right there to correct the problem. We would highly recommend renting from Coronado Car and will do so again.

Josh Stevens of Coronado Cars is very reliable, prompt, personable and easy to work with. He will get you what you need if it is at all possible. His vehicles always work well; we used one in 2014 and another in 2015 and they drove well over the country roads as well as the highways of Panama. We happily recommend him.

Booked online in January for our trip in March, plane was late but Tyrone stayed in contact and was there waiting when we arrived. Car was clean and reliable. Eli, Johaney and team are pleasent, personable and know the meaning if customer service. As for the cars the prices are fair, include insurance, and there are no surprises.

If you need to rent a car around Coronado, do yourself a service and give them a call!

A privately owned and honest business. I had a problem they handled immediately, another problem occurred and we disagreed on the outcome. I was treated with total respect for my views as I did theirs and it was easy to resolve our differences. We were both pleased. Hard working women and nice to see they carved out a well run business. I will be back.

We rented regular cars from these guys before and they have done an excellent job! Also, I recommended them to my sister while she was visiting and she loved their personalized service. They even found her a golf cart so she could run around with my nephews! Thanks for doing a great job!
