El Bigote Coffee & Waffles

A lovely place on the avenue we are staying at. We arrived at Lima around 8.00 and couldn’t check in until 10.30, so we went in for a coffee and left fully-fed, emails checked and with a great welcome experience in this magnificent city.
We chose two different breakfast menus, one with waffle that has ham , cheese and oregano baked into it with some salad, a sauce and an egg on top to finish it off, the other one was with 2 eggs, small toasts and a great amount of fresh avocado and chips. This came with a delicious fresh juice and a cappuccino for S. 23.
Service was great, WiFi fast and delicious coffees as well! Highly recommended!

Man, was this place good. I don't usually enjoy having waffles, but, these... oh God, these were awesome, the taste, the texture, how fresh it all was and the servers, the ambiance and the people working there are all awesome, couldn't have felt better or more welcome, reminded me of those sweet small restaurants in the provinces where you feel right at home. 5/5 very recommended

First time in Barranco and my airbnb was close by this amazing food spot! Amazing service, they were all super kind. Had amazing recommendations and just it's all to die for. My fav was the Red velvet waffle and (all the salads) and! Most importantly the Fresa de verano. Thank you El Bigote for making my stay in Barranco a little more special🫶🏼☺

Great food and service! Upstairs or downstairs seating and everything you could want for breakfast they have! Today I had the red velvet waffle, scrambled eggs with bacon and a cappuccino! Delicious delicious delicious!

If you find yourself just south of the main city... You MUST stop in here and eat some waffles... They are amazing!!!!

First restaurant we visited once we arrived to Lima. We came in with luggage as we waited for check in at our Airbnb. A waiter helped us take the luggage up the stairs. Excellent service. Fantastic food. I recommend the yerbabuena pineapple juice. Sweet and refreshing.

The waffles and burger were delicious. Staff is attentive. Music and plants gives the place a good vibe. Good quality and not very expensive. Great choice in Barranco.

You MUST try the "Bigote Tea", it is so on budget, the tastiest, and if you take it home even adding more hot water as refill doesn't lose its taste
My favorite brunch or late dinner spot, love all their waffles, i am sure you will find you favorite by yourself, and get filled up cuz their sizes are plenty
It is also pet friendly! So come over with your whole family ❤

Amazing waffle house. I definitely recommend if you are staying in Lima. And if you are staying at one of the many Airbnbs in Barranco... Even better. Every kind of waffle that you could imagine. Staff is friendly as well.

This place is incredible! I had the Chocoloco waffle and my friend got the s'mores waffle, both were delicious.
Everything looks good, I would definitely come here again.

This place is amazing. I've been here two years ago and returned yesterday right after landing in Lima again. I had forgotten the name of the place, but I could very much remember how tasty their waffles were. They still taste so good 😋

So sad I can’t eat here every day of my life. I live in the States but this was by far the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten. Love you all sooooo much. Thank you for speaking English with me!!!
