Beautiful cozy main square with a lot of plants and a beautiful church.

Bautiful plaza de Armas with the usual church,fontain and mamy opportunities ro sit down and watch the surroundings. There is always something happening,like a parade,people singing,dancing,street vendors. Most of the time you can get drinks,ice cream,popcorn or other sorts of food.

The square was very busy due to carnival festivities. The music was lovely and the kids bands were bright and cheerful. I will return for a slower day soon. The grounds are well maintained and pretty.

Welcoming you to this place known as the "Peruvian Swiss", Huaraz is a city that offers a variety of beautiful landscapes and exquisite native food!

It is a nice park to visit when the sun is out. You can also walk from here to the oldest barrio in the city. There were major earthquakes in the 40s and 70s that leveled the town. Only a small area survived. It is close to the anthropological museum as well.

The plaza de armas is a nice place to chill during the day/night. Close to hostels/hotels and the main street of huaraz with many tour companies. The food market (mercado central) is only a few blocks down from the plaza.

This place is really cosy. Most of the time is sunny so you can walk around this location calmly.

You can get good pictures in front of that church. There are people dressed with the traditional Andean clothes. You can take pictures with them for a symbolic gratitude. There are also llamas

Really Nice place for chilling out. Don't Book tours on the street from people who offers Tourism services. They are Deefs

Nice square in the middle of the town with lot‘s of possibilities around. It‘s a must for an overview.

Nice and quiet in new year Eve, very gentle people, not all the taxis have a sign as a distinct, however it was safe.

Favorite central Park in Peru! Beautiful views

Beautiful place for tourists and locals.
Great pictures in clear days. The mountains look spectacular.
Around the main square there are restaurants, souvenir ferias and back offices.

Lovely little Park in front of the Cathedral. 5 minutes from the centre, nice place to chill out and watch life go by. Very safe and no hawkers.

The hub of the city

It's a quiet place, not so many things to see there but a good place to hang out and talk with friends, also you can find some restaurants and banks

Nice pueblo. Good restaurants. Friendly atmosphere. Surrounded by the amazing view of Cordigliera blanca. Center for many trips hiking climbing and so on.
