Had an unbelievable stay with an amazing family!! The upscale large property is located in the heart of a valley with picturesque mountains on both sides, and is run by a charming Peruvian-German lady. I stayed in the large room, which had a stunning view from the balcony overlooking the valley (and also a great bath tub). I felt very much at home during my entire stay with charming conversations with the owner, playing with the dogs, and walking around the property (small kitchen garden, roses, lavender, oregano, maize, etc.). You can also go for hikes around the nearby mountains on a gorgeous trail that runs by a stream and marvel at the large cacti along the way. But, the highlight of the trip was drinking wine under one of the clearest night skies that I have ever seen (much clearer than Cusco or even neighbouring Ollantaytambo). Totally recommended! Definitely a slice of paradise, and one of my top experiences in Peru (which is a country of many once-in-a-lifetime experiences).

P.S.: If you couldn't sleep from all the noise in Cusco like me, you will sleep like a baby here to the sound of the stream and toads at night.
