Palawan Museum

A must visit when you’re in Puerto Princessa. Sadly, it’s not offered in any of the city tours. You can still visit privately. You can go here via public transpo (trike or multi-cab). Transpo via multi cab is cheaper. The entrance fee to the museum is P50. There are no guides but the information posted for each exhibit is sufficient . There are two floors for this museum. I particularly enjoyed the exhibit about the version of Baybayin that originated in Palaw’ an. I also bought a T-shirt with Baybayin print that can only be found in the museum.

Palawan Museum is located in the old two-storey city hall in the City of Puerto Princesa. It houses collections of the flora and fauna endemic to the islands of Palawan and also features its different tribes. What appeals to me most is their old form of writing, which, although they educate tourists about it, I do not know if they do any efforts about preserving it and passing it down to the youth of Palaweños.
Entrance fee as of writing is 50.00 for adult and you can tour the whole exhibit in at least 30 minutes.
Getting there:
It is 1.1 km away from airport so you can walk after your arrival. Or you can walk from airport to highway (Junction 1) for about two minutes and take a jeep. You can also opt to take tricycle from the airport but they will charge you a hefty price.

The best place to visit if you want to know more of the history of Palawan and the philippines.

The thing of palawan culture are beautiful , But the exhibition space isn't very well, and they actually need a good curator ,there are many items that haven't been shown well.

Best place to learned about history and culture of Palawan. Good for children to enchance their knowledge. Entrance fee of 50php was not bad children and adults will enjoy if you loved history😍😍😍.

Its a small museum with some cool stuffs.. My baby loves the shell collections.

Kinda hot inside but you can self turn on the ventilators. A 15 minutes visit at best.
