We were there for a short while. They have an interesting array of woodcarved products, and their price range is quite reasonable for their level of craftsmanship. But I nearly wept hearing about the plight of the other woodcarver shops in town. The pandemic devastated nearly the entire woodcarving industry in the area, and there were only very few that are left. Their craft is a dying trade, I pray that these small family owned handicraft shops survive for as long as possible.

Wood carvings in Paete are becoming more expensive. Stores are also dwindling due to the pandemic. It's just a pity that Pinoy talent in this category is not being fully recognized by this generation.
