Nice Hacienda Style sort of Accomodation, Big Rooms with Balcony and air conditioning. Nice view of the hills and forest, nice cool breeze from the roof top with excellent 360 degrees view. My husband enjoyed drinking and chilling from the rooftop and seeing the sunset. The staff are friendly, helpful and accomodating. We even asked to washed our clothes in their washing machine, we provided the washing powder and cloth conditioner as we already have one. Breakfast was good, prepared on the time we requested. The staff are doing all they can to accommodate customers requests. There was a water pressure problem at nite time, we've been asked if we would like to transfer to the apartment, but we did not bother ...as my husband was sleeping already, the water pressure was back in the morning. Overall, such an experience to stay in Grand Luis Mountain Resort, the price per nite was matching the status of Room Accomodation. We rented a Car when we arrived in Bohol. Transport is essential for a comfortable touring around the tourist spot. You will find it easily in google map. For solo or couple, rented scooter is a must. Wifi only works in the ground floor, I have a local Philippine number on my phone, so I used my own Internet at room. TV did not work, but it did not bother us ....as we have our own tablet with us. They only provided breakfast at the moment....so we drove at nite for local dinner which was 5 minutes away. The gardens are well maintained, though we saw some scattered few trash outside, next to the premises that needs cleaning and tidying up...the ambiance of the Accomodation is like a dated hacienda style with mixed South African and Filipino interior decoration. The Resort needs a good investor to restore its glory when it was used to be....with proper advertising and social media exposure, renovations and updating...it will give jobs to the local people there. They cater as well for meetings and parties.

Can’t tell you enough how the staff at this hotel is so kind and helpful!

Don’t hesitate to ask for tours and rentals at the front desk and it will be their pleasure to assist you.

Location is a little bit remote (15 minutes from Alona and 10 from the city) BUT they have FREE private shuttles available until 10PM for all guests!

The food was exceptionally good too - compliments to their chef who takes care of every plate that comes out of his kitchen.

Pool and rooms were clean as well.

Can't say enough nice things about this place. This was my second visit and I will go back again next month. I stayed for 3 weeks this time. What makes this place the best is the staff. Each one of them goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. I'm veterinarian and after a couple of days of eating the only veggies on the menu they created a whole new menu with lots of options. The food was great. The room was spacious and comfortable and the price was very reasonable. This resort should cost twice the price. It's that good!

Staff is helpful and kind. Room, common areas and pool are clean. Breakfast was custom made and tasted great. This is a quite place with lots of nature to see.

Quiet, clean, affordable and optional breakfast included. The location is on the mountain. Far from famous beaches. Need a scooter or car for transportation.

Ottima struttura. Camere ampie con balcone, pulite e ben arredate. Si trova tra tagbilaran e alona Beach quindi ottimo per spostarsi. Noleggiano i motorino ma fate attenzione che il motorino che vi viene affidato sia in buone condizioni. Lo staff è eccellente, davvero il miglior servizio che ho trovato fino ad oggi. Si sono fatti in quattro per aiutarci. Grazie davvero! Consiglio questo posto senza dubbio, il migliore! Grazie mille Marco e Salvatore.

Podrían ofrecer scouter incluidos en el precio, por la posición del hotel! Te vienen a buscar al puerto o aeropuerto y incluye el desayuno!
Hay un par de detalles de mantenimiento que molestan al llegar al hotel y te preguntas porque cositas tan pequeñas no están arregladas!
De todas formas muy recomendable!!
