Chowking

This is the latest Chowking branch in the city (as of September 2019), and its interiors make it very clear. Its layout and overall aesthetic are entirely different from the other branches—pop art wall decors, wooden chairs and benches, more wooden paneling. It is spacious. The food is the same as the rest. Service is quick, but sometimes the servers could get a little lazy. I ordered beef chao fan but what I got was a bowl of stiff heated rice. It was like eating rice crispies; I had to return it. Thankfully, they replaced it with a freshly cooked serving. Also, one must remind the cashier though to skip the single-use plastic cups and straws when ordering cold beverages.

They won't open the upper floor to accommodate more customers but they're still accepting more customers, where are we supposed to eat? At the floor?

Poor service, disappointed customer here, I waited almost an hour for my order only to find out they forgot about it, negligence you say!

Poor service! Halo-halo take-out for almost 1 hour.
