A nice view adjacent to the famed Hanging Coffins. Unfortunately this place isn't allowed for shouting anymore so there's not much we can do.

Had a great time at the infamous Echo Valley in Sagada. History-rich in every step you take.

At the bottom of Echo Valley, there’s a coffee shop called Baw-eng where the owner sells farm-to-cup coffee beside his coffee farm for PHP 80 per cup. He also sells local handicrafts and cookies.

Rich history told by tour guides. Nice trekking experience. Sad though as we’re not allowed to test the “echo” in Echo Valley anymore. Per our tour guide, some tourists would shout malicious and offensive words, disrespecting the place’s serenity that’s why the local government disallowed it altogether.

My partner and I spent the holidays in Sagada. The hike was tiring, but the steps are all worth it!

Be sure to hit the tourism office before going here. We had to go back for a 15min walk to get a ticket and hire a tour guide. Can't shout anymore to hear the echo but it's all fine and good. Lots of interesting things to see during the half and a hour hike.

Sagada is the closest I can get of having that feel of Machu Picchu here in the Philippines. Way back before the "Facebook/IG travelers" and "post RomCom adventurers" flock on these well hidden, and well protected places, these places are very tranquil and trash free natural site we have.

I wish travelers nowadays should be more mature and educated in terms of the places they wander, instead of taking selfies for the sake of instant vanities.

To all LGU, NGO and environmental advocates, IEC (information, education, communication) is the key for sustainable tourism in this country.

I love the ambiance of the place. The greenery, the hanging coffin, the church and the famous cemetery, everything is just a walk away from each other.

It is like a big park, but it is a cemetery with the hanging coffins. Make sure you hire a local, native tour operator to learn all the hanging coffins related details.

Shout all your heartaches away! Kidding! Very nice view. You can even see a house built near a cliff!

Try doing the echo along the way. You can also see some of the hanging coffins. And amazing rock formations.

I actually find it a bit eerie to trail in a solemn place like a cemetery, yet the experience was very surreal. It must be the adventure itself, like enduring the windy steps with my companions up and down, with the vast sea of trees beyond, and venturing the trail which led to a cemetery, a brook, a small cave, and so much more. This place is for the adventurous heart who loves challenges.

Had a great hiking tour. Awe-inspiring. Every step walking through the forest, up and down the side of the mountain, around and through crevices, rocks and a small underground river, was a great experience. The path for the tour is well marked and many parts are appropriately cemented to help non-serious/ beginner hikers like me. :)

It was a long walk down and up passing trails to reach the other mountain yet it was all worthy. The journey was filled with historical and cultural information that gave us understanding of the place deeper.

Yes, from his word echo. its a breathtaking view of the pine tree hills and valley and also the graveyard, and near the famous hanging coffins.

You can feel the sacred of the place and if you want to replenish some peace of mind better to enlist it to your sagada bucket list.

In this place is also the restin place of one saf member died in mamasapano seige.

What I admire in place, aside from the eerie scenery is the semi-preserved tradition, culture, and beliefs of the people in Sagada. Great place to take a glimpse of Philippine history and traditions.
